I Learned a New Word Today - Freeganism

I used to have a job where I made deliveries to grocery stores. It used to piss me off how much still good food they would dump into their dumpster.

Yes, on occasion there would be a person there taking some of it.

LOL.....I worked at the first stand-alone KFC in town when I was 12......We threw out so much chicken I started saving it for coon bait for my dad.....When we got too much of it he was giving it to other area trappers.

I bet the coons in the area were wondering what was going on.

BTW....Back in the day KFC was only sold in sit-down restaurants.....Thing was you could not eat it in the restaurant.....It had to be take-out.

So, the owner of the Virginia Gentleman, being a sly dog with a nose for money, opened up a small "stand alone" KFC next to his place.

I also worked KFC as a teenager and took tons of chicken home each night, unless the manager wanted to trade it for gas at his local gas station.

What is it with lefties (including alleged former lefties) that claim they despise the president elect? Do they spend too much time on social networks? Did they embrace their feminine side so their loyalty to American values relies on some convoluted emotional crisis? What's not to like about a strong president who puts America first?

My oldest brother worked at a chain grocery store. He used to bring stuff home all the time that was about to be trashed, especially dairy and stuff from bakery so I can't really fault people who get it out of the dumpster if that is their thing.
