I have problems making my $10.61 monthly donations most of the time.

I'll send you cash but you have to credit me for $10.61.

It is a # that came to me in a dream.

Not really it came the first time I heard it 50 years ago.

So, WHERE is "The Badlands"????

I was told one of my posts was moved there. I don't find any thread called "The Badlands".

And why isn't there an option to preview your post before you post it???

I don't give my money to anyone online. The way I figure it, this board owes me money for all the entertainment I've provided for the last 15 years.

I've only given money to one charity online..........it was a birthday present for someone that said she didn't want a birthday present.
So, I donated money to an organization that gives birthday parties to little kids that have never had one, don't have parents, or are otherwise homeless.

I got an email in her name thanking her for the donation, and gave her that. She liked it.

My second FAV: Sgt Peppers.
I've got that one on vinyl and CD as well as four or five original Beatles albums. My collection covers 66 through 76 rock n roll pretty well. LOL, I put it all on USB and listen to it exclusively. I can't remember the last time I listened to the radio--I think it was a syndicated station called BOB that I got on the central CA coast and Spokane--its got some good old rock in a pinch.

I am from Philly and we had some great stations and concerts back than in the 70's.

Have you ever heard of the World Cafe from UNIV CITY. (the college section) You have to give it a listen.

Bonny Raitt use to live in the neighborhood...she would come on all the time. I have to hundreds of concerts and that is one I missed in a hall that held about 200 people.

Bruce started in between NYC and Philly. I saw him in a gym. (?) He always played the area when he was just starting out. I saw him on New Years at the The Tower. I skipped a lot of shows but did see him 15 times. David Bromberg also.

When Dylan toured he played 9 out of 10 shows in Philly or the surrounding counties.

I remember watching American Bandstand broadcast from Philly every weekend in the 60s. Good times.
