I have no dog in the fight this weekend cuz I'm Packer fan, but this Jarrett Stidham story is fascinating

The sports popes on the many outlets I listen to say New England has no chance of losing
I find myself pulling for the Bronco's Sunday. I would like to see Stidham pull it off

Peyton has been out coaching rivals all season. It could happen.

The reality is that if the Broncos pull off a win with this new green QB, it will be the game of the playoffs in a year where almost every game so far from the wildcards down has been an absolute slobberknocker.

6 of the 10 playoff games so far have all literally come down to the final play in the final minute, sometimes even in OT.

Mind you, I have no love of the Pats but they are almost certainly going to the SB.

Never heard of the guy, but was listening to a football geek show yesterday and some guy who knows a lot about Stidham says he will surprise people how good he is.

He's got a stronger arm than Nix, not as mobile.

That may be true, but supposedly he hasn't thrown a pass in the NFL in 2 seasons! That makes a difference as no amount of practice can simulate a real game; esp. a playoff one! :nono: :stir:

No fan since Brady found to be a cheat in more ways than 1! Can't stand arrogance of Payton going back to his stint w/ The Saints! He finally got them glory & his ego exploded! I recall him being a little more humble when just a "spare Bear" QB during the strike season of 1987!:p
