Zone1 I Have Gone From Christian to Born Again Christian

Yep, I completely trust the entire Bible one hundred percent now and consider it God inspired and authentic. I didn't know how bad of a person I was before I came to Christ until He showed me first Himself. I would love to read the Bible daily but unfortunately do to my reading comprehension issues I just don't understand it. My fiancée and I are currently looking for a good church though and hopefully it'll have Sunday school so we'll both be able to understand it better.

Already was in 2018 and I no longer believe in ghosts either. As the Bible says that they're just really demons in disguise of deceased loved ones and yeah I know lol but I had to be honest about the meat and dairy.

Oh and buttercup I updated my signature. Does that answer your question? Basically the Lord and I had a bit of a chat and yes I can and have heard His voice. MANY times at that and He was telling me that my fiancée and I (he wants to get baptized ASAP too btw) have to be extremely careful when selecting a church and make sure that it's the right one first. You see for years upon end now whenever the preachers would tell me that I would go to Hell if I didn't believe in and love Jesus, I stopped going to churches (as I've been to many before) and backslid because I thought that He was just being arrogant and mean and just a big bully.



It was never explained to me why I would go to Hell either. Then the Lord spoke to me and told me that I got it all wrong. He doesn't want to punish me and it breaks His heart when His children have to go to Hell, He LOVES me and said that in His Word to try and save me because it was the ONLY way. Now I understand that message perfectly as I hear Him loud and clear now. He's trying to protect His people, not bully them.

You should check out The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They hold Sacrament meeting every Sunday and Sunday School every other week, on the off weeks they hold Priesthood meeting for the men and Relief Society for the women.

I recommend Bible in a Year with Father Mike Schmitz (Ascension Presents). It is an online Bible Study that you and your fiancee could listen to together.



A Bible Study group is also a great gift, so I am not recommending one over the other. You could do both!

Yeah I found that out shortly afterwards. You think that this was amazing though, did you by any chance read the story I posted that happened back on New Year's Day about God telling me where lost kittens were?

Oh and I forgot to say that I did believe in Jesus for years but not the born again part until recently because of all the churches that I went to they were taking it entirely out of context and making Him sound mean when actually He's very kind, gentle, compassionate, and believe it or not silly at times, but actually the Bible backs up that part too because it talks about how children would go to Him. Why would children go to somebody who isn't fun to be around and doesn't laugh and have fun when appropriate?
