Great answer. The kind of answer I'd expect from someone who is barely getting by and has no prospect of retiring on anything more than a meager social security benefit. Is it any wonder that you and TN post from work?

Your observations on myself are as accurate as your observations on climate change.Great answer. The kind of answer I'd expect from someone who is barely getting by and has no prospect of retiring on anything more than a meager social security benefit.
I didn't turn down a part time gig. It was a full time gig that paid $250 per hr.Your observations on myself are as accurate as your observations on climate change.
You're a bullshit artist, and bullshit artists are usually wrong.
But I do believe you are financially well off, and retired, and that you turned down working part time. I did the same thing, I could have gone right back to work for my former employer as a contractor (making more than when I was on payroll) after I retired, and I never considered doing it. Why would I? I can find something else to do other than work. Plus I was sick of doing it.
Like I said you're a bullshit artist. I would not be surprised if you were involved in climate disinformation as your full time occupation.Anytime you want to get schooled on the science of climate change look me up.
You have to see it that way.Like I said you're a bullshit artist. I would not be surprised if you were involved in climate disinformation as your full time occupation.
OK but according to google that equates to ~4.5% of their income. When I queried google on what percentage of UK taxes goes to universal health care I got a very wishy washy answer. They have a 12% IPT. And they are talking about raising it.
I deleted that post. Its around 4.5% for healthcare. I didnt fully understand their IPT until I read more about it.OK but according to google that equates to ~4.5% of their income. When I queried google on what percentage of UK taxes goes to universal health care I got a very wishy washy answer.
Tax going up or down is irrelevant. The amount of tax on average per person spent on healthcare in the UK is about half of the insurance cost on average per person in the US.Are you suggesting that when the UK switched to universal health care that taxes DIDN"T go up? I think we both know better.
You are have made the argument that your healthcare costs are zero which is incorrect. In the US we don't have universal healthcare but we do have medicare for the elderly. We pay a medicare tax of 2.9% when we are working. When we retire, we pay nothing other than a low monthly premium.
Do you know what the tax rate is for your universal healthcare? It's about 4.5% of your income.
Your healthcare isn't free. No ones is.
It's relevant if you think you are getting free healthcare. Which you are not.Tax going up or down is irrelevant. The amount of tax on average per person spent on healthcare in the UK is about half of the insurance cost on average per person in the US.
If you want to save half of your healthcare monthly cost, on average, in the US, then create state healthcare and when you use it, you won't be made bankrupt.
