I eat a gallon of ice cream per week.

You make other choices the rest of the time is my guess.
When I went through gallbladder issues, including vomiting 10 hours straight, I quickly learned to give up processed white carbs and ate mostly PLAIN veggies and meat. That seemed to help my gallbladder. But by eliminating processed foods my weight dropped from 220 to 160 in 60 days. Now my weight stabilized at 175 since I learned the real secret to losing weight. I never count calories and I'm never hungry.
Why don't you start a thread on this and go in to more detail, I think people need to know how it worked for you. Everyone is different, we hear of various fads we try and some might work (for a short time) but your process is what actually works and is not a "fad" diet, it is making healthy and wise food choices.

Real foods are not processed, processed foods are ground down to a fine particulate, removing what was healthy and then horrible additives, like corn syrup, are added for flavor and shelf life. It gets worse than this if you dig deeper.
