I can't find a permit!1!!

“I don’t know where I can go to find the information. I can’t find any accessible drawings. I can’t find a permit,” said Rep. Bennie G. Thompson (D-Mississippi), the top Democrat of the House Committee on Homeland Security.

Democrats better get right on it and canvas the entire district to make sure Trump adheres to the letter of the law on every imaginable permit, fee, and license!

This could be big!

I heard they dumped the rubble into the tidal basin.....Watch the vile dems run with that. ;)
Actually, it was used to refurbish the golf course. Democrats should be demanding the golf course be dug up.

You are out of your ******* mind !

Whatever Trump is for...I am against !
Whatever.

That does not change the fact that he tore off the whole East Wing, and clearly has no plans other than a couple of AI images that don’t line up.

Nor does it change the fact that you don’t normally tear anything down unless you have a plan to replace it.

You can rant, but you can’t refute.

on commercial jobs the contractor always pulls permits,,

depending on how the contract is written either the general contractor pulls permits or each trade pulls them,, sometimes its a mix and the plumber and electrician pulls their own,,

No, it is not either necessary nor legal for contractors to pull permits unless legally designated by contract to do so or are the property owners.

Permitting, like plans review and inspection are the responsibility of the property owner. Third parties aren’t recognized normally.

In Missouri, general contractors typically need to pull permits for construction projects, but the requirements can vary by locality.

Permit Requirements:

  • Local Regulations: Each city or county may have different rules regarding permits. It's essential to check with local building departments.
  • Types of Projects: Common projects requiring permits include new constructions, major renovations, electrical work, plumbing, and roofing.
  • Contractor Responsibility: While general contractors often handle the permit process, homeowners may also be responsible for obtaining permits in some cases.
Exceptions:

  • Minor Repairs: Small repairs or maintenance tasks may not require permits, but this varies by jurisdiction.
Best Practices:

  • Consult Local Authorities: Always verify with local building officials to ensure compliance with specific regulations.
  • Documentation: Keep records of all permits and inspections for future reference.

That makes no sense whatsoever.

Where did you get that?

The plans for the new ballroom and renovated bunker will never be made public as a matter of national security.

The "top democrat" on the Homeland security committee spends his time researching a freaking permit to demolish a structure while illegal aliens are raping and killing American citizens and democrats are fighting ICE agents. What does that tell you about the democrat agenda?

I'll bet he couldn't find where that cocaine came from either.

poor babies

shame he doesn't have something important to keep him busy

like paying the troops

or keeping federal employees employed.
Open the govt and maybe then some staff can help you dembot

Somebody needs to launch a full blown investigation.
Why that is a historic site, a wildlife refuge and a bird sanctuary. I also understand that the site was not cleared by archeologists and more than likely there are Indian burials and ruins on the site. Additionally it's more than likely an intermittent wetlands(it is in the swamp after all), and home to millions of endangered insects and rodents. Don't get me started on the trees.......

No disrespect meant but don't you think lawyers do ?
45 yrs in the construction business tells me different,,

in my city contractors have a hotline and can get basic permits over the phone, and structure permits take engineered plans and a few days,,

commercial is a little more complicated depending on the work,,

15th post
commercial is a little more complicated depending on the work,,

Were talking the White House...dude !

When I was in the Army I had a ticket for a WH event. When I got there in a very stern way the SS told I could not go in.

It was only years and years later...I found out I had a felony conviction on my record. I wrote the GOV a letter and followed up with a call saying that case was droped and had it removed.

The guy talked to me like I was dirt and was very short with me. But he was kind enough to remove it with in a week...which is lighting for the GOV.

It still makes no sense.

Rubble was dumped at East Potomac Golf Links. Steel, asbestos, slabs of reinforced concrete?

Because there was certainly no plan whatsoever to rubblize and remediate the hazardous waste. I doubt that there is a real plan for the golf course, other than using it as a dump.
