To be socialist or communist all factories have to be owned by the government and they have to take the responsibility to be the salesman of all factories production. There is no such this int this country. There are also a few other main tenets that also don't exist, government sets prices , sets wages set what a factory makes. owns all property owns all natural resources. But there is one that has to exist ,without which there is no socialism or communism and that is the means of production has to be owned by the state.

The truth of the matter is even if we never become a Socialist or Communist country (by your definition) the Democrat party will always try to get as close to those ideologies as they possibly can until they get there. They are control freaks that want to tell you everything from how to eat and drink to what kind of car you have to drive.

They would have taken over the people years ago except of the two things stopping them: energy and healthcare. Once they have total control over those two things, they will have total control over the people. That's why they are trying so hard to have total control over those two entities.
