Got a friend in church who says she's a democrat, but she's against abortion, gender-affirmation and illegal aliens. She has a queer grandson whom she won't talk to.

I thought of that as I posted.

Yes, we have a uni-party. I agree.

With that said, as long as the laws and rules are structured such that it makes the illusion of two parties, then folks that aren't members of the uni-party still have their rights.
