I am Outraged at Trump for having a Major Drug Cartel leader arrested!

First, you have to question where was the MAGA outrage when Trump pardoned Juan Orlando Hernandez, the former president of Honduras. Let’s look at what he was convicted for:

  • During his sentencing, it was noted that over “400 tons” (or “hundreds of tons”) of cocaine were trafficked under this scheme.
  • The indictment alleges that JOH used the Honduran National Police and military to protect drug shipments transiting Honduras.
  • Weapons, machine guns, and destructive devices were used by the drug traffickers he conspired with to safeguard shipments.
  • JOH received millions of dollars in drug-money bribes from trafficking organizations and used those funds to finance his political rise and campaigns. As one key example, prosecutors said that a payment of about US$1 million was made by the Sinaloa Cartel (via its leader at the time, Joaquín Guzmán Loera, aka “El Chapo”) to JOH’s brother and close ally (also convicted of drug trafficking in the U.S.) in exchange for continued protection of the cartel’s drug-trafficking operations in Honduras.
  • Prosecutors argued that money from drug trafficking was used to bribe election officials and influence elections, helping to ensure JOH’s electoral victories in 2013 and 2017.
Second, much of the outrage is not coming from the arrest of Maduro, it is coming because of Trump’s comments that he plans on “running” Venezuela. Trump has not ruled out boots on the ground and further strikes on the Country though Maduro is in custody.

Lastly, the whole idea that this is about Maduro is itself belied by Trump’s assertions that he wants Venezuela’s oil resources. The true reason for this military strike and for what is to follow.

So dumb DumbAgain. Do you know nothing about this topic?

Trump just pardoned a drug king. Ops! You probably missed it. Fox News may not have reported it.

There are several other nations much more involved in drug trafficking than Venezuela. Do you know anything about the drug cartels just south of the Rio Grande (ops…thats our southern border)? Or those operating throughout Columbia and Peru and other areas of Latin America (ops, thats the area generally considered central and South America).

You’ll have to look it up. Sorry.
Whats next? The Maduro regime is still there.

I’m outraged.

How about you?

How dare any American President capture a major drug cartel leader?

Forget about the fact that the foreign drug cartel leader has been under indictment here for almost 7 years. What does that have to do with anything.

True, Maduro had illegally seized power in Venezuela so, technically, he wasn’t the leader of that foreign land. But

Well. Something

Who else is outraged?

I'm outraged that he's committing acts of war without the approval of Congress.

I'm outraged that he's using the "pretext" of drugs to seize another country's resources.

We've lost any moral high ground we would have in condemning the Russian invasion of Ukraine or a potential Chinese seizure of Taiwan.

IT is not there as the army and the people never supported him. IN fact the VP left the country and is in Russia. The army with American support will remove whats left

What is Trump's price for a pardon?

May 27, 2025 — President Trump pardoned Paul Walczak, a man who had pleaded guilty to tax crimes, one month after his mother attended a major fundraiser for the president.

Fago later attended a Mar-a-Lago fundraising dinner with a $1 million cost per person, according to the Times, and Walczak was pardoned less than three weeks later.

Walczak had pleaded guilty back in November, shortly after Trump’s election, to not paying employment taxes and not filing his individual income tax returns, according to the Department of Justice (DOJ). He’d withheld nearly $7.5 million in taxes from workers at his health care companies but did not pay those over to the IRS, the DOJ said, among other issues.

A $6.5 million profit.

Trump regime: Pardons for profit.

Congress is not required and if notified would have warned Maduro
The Monroe doctrine is the legal basis.
The Venezuelan people had full support as well as the army.
This was major blow against socialism and drug sales that pay for world wide terror.
It reduces the threat of Russia Cuba Iran and China who all had major operations there.
This is major win for freedom, capitalism and morality

Democrats show us who they really are by opposing it

Maduro just before the capture on drug trafficking charges.

Are you saying it's okay for Trump to ignore the Constitution? Only Congress can declare war.

The Monroe doctrine is the legal basis.

the Monroe Doctrine is defunct, and only really applied to European Powers setting up shop in the Americas.

The Venezuelan people had full support as well as the army.

What do you base that on? Are we seeing an uprising in Caracas this morning? No. Rodriguez has assumed powers, and nothing has changed. If anything, we've bolstered the Venezuelan regime, as anyone who supports Machado is seen as a US Puppet.

It's like you don't understand how any of this works.

This was major blow against socialism and drug sales that pay for world wide terror.

Except it was neither. The drugs are coming from Mexico and Columbia, and the Socialist regime is bolstered by our actions.

It reduces the threat of Russia Cuba Iran and China who all had major operations there.

Again, if anything, Venezuela will form closer ties.

This is major win for freedom, capitalism and morality

Invading a smaller country to steal their oil isn't moral.

Democrats show us who they really are by opposing it
Smart enough to realize stupid when we see it?

Hey, remember the last time you used "Freedom" as an excuse to steal another country's oil? I was Iraq. How did that one turn out for us again?

Congress can declare war they cant make war. Only the president can make war. Thats the law. This wasnt war it was an arrest of criminal.
The people of Venezuela gave us full support as well as many sections of the army. Who are you to disagree with them.
Now their oil will be developed and the people will prosper. They are free now and you hate that which exposes what you are.
Trump won a major victory against the cancer of socialism, oppression and tyranny. Youre against that right. That takes a special kind of stupidity
