Yeah, Assange exposed DNC cheating.
He exposed damaging and embarrassing material that was NOT illegal...DURING AN ELECTION.

He did this by using information given to him by the Russians. He was acting as their agent
Where’s the link showing Assange got the info from the Russians.

Ever heard of Seth Rich? Has his murder been solved yet?

Oh right...it was Seth Richard, Hugo Chavez and the CIA

No...as Mueller pointed out dramatically...the GRU hacked the DNC and provided that info to Assange...

It was news. Nothing illegal in that. Besides the Russians didn't do it.

As far as that goes, I don't care who released information on political cheating.

You shouldn't either. Don't cheat.

It’s most disheartening that some Americans think exposing the wrongs of the powerful within government is a crime. I suppose it’s often just partisan stupidity in that, they condemn exposure of their team’s wrongs but cheer exposure of wrongs by the other team.

How can they be so ignorant?

Excuse me? The Russians didn't do it?

Mueller indicted about 15 GRU agents for "doing it".

So what about Reality Winner?
If Snowden were to be pardoned you'd have to do the same for Reality Winner.
You're thinking logically, not politically.

Politically, Snowden and Assange are pro-Putin, thus good. Reality Winner is anti-Putin, thus bad. In the eyes of Trump anyway.

Seriously, what does Tulsi have to say about Reality Winner?

She's the one that released NSA documents that showed Russia hacking of the 2016 election

Oddly Tulsi's not interested in that

Tulsi is a useless troll who can't find her calling. She trolls the left looking for support from the right but supports liberal (mostly) ideas. She did do one thing right though, retire.

This is not about Tulsi Gabbard. It is about standing up to persecution by our global security state (and other states too). It is about the need to protect whistleblowers and independent news sources. By the way, WikiLeaks of course defends the young woman, ex-military, private security contractor and whistleblower Reality Winner:

“Reality Leight Winner is no Clapper or Petraeus with ‘elite immunity’. She's a young woman against the wall for talking to the press.”
— Julian Assange

For background: Reality Winner - Wikipedia

So? Does Assange consider himself an upper class elite?

How is Reality Winner different from Chelsea Manning, who he supported and leaked a lot more?

I don’t see how Assange could consider himself a member of “an upper class elite,” since he came from a poor background and a broken family. Assange was a prodigy who founded WikiLeaks to expose the secrets of genuine political, business and Security State elites.

As for not supporting or sufficiently “leaking” Reality Winner’s whistleblower documents, that is a bit preposterous. When Reality Winner was arrested in 2017, Assange was already trapped in the Ecuadorian Embassy in London, fighting for his life and freedom, his every moved spied on. It was The Intercept that circulated Winner’s documents, and it did so in a sloppy manner, unintentionally leading the NSA to her.

It takes a serious organization with sophisticated encryption systems and loads of editorial savvy to avoid making fatal mistakes. Of course it would be ideal if groups like WikiLeaks had real protection, refuge, and support for their crucial work.
