Zone1 HYPOCRISY: In The End Ayn Rand Revealed Her True Self And It Was Not Pretty or Objective

Are you Ayn Rand?
No, but I don't need it. Am I stealing from others by taking it?

And... According to the Ayn Rand Institute, she was taking back her own forced contributions. She, like other proponents of this view, believed that when forced to pay taxes, it is logical to take back as much as possible rather than "martyr" herself. She argued that accepting benefits is only hypocritical if one supports the existence of the welfare state, whereas she continued to oppose it.

So, you are not Ayn Rand? Thought maybe you thought you were.

Correct.

Why would you think that? A better question is why this is even an issue. Is this really a hill you want to die on?
"a hill you want to die on?"

wtf talks like that

"a hill you want to die on?"

wtf talks like that
It's an expression.

"A hill to die on" originates from military strategy, specifically referring to the desperate defense of a high-ground position where soldiers would fight to the death. The phrase gained traction from 20th-century battles, notably the Battle of Hamburger Hill in Vietnam, where high casualties were suffered for a position with little strategic value. [1, 2, 3]
Origin and Evolution:
  • Military Strategy: The high ground (hill) offers tactical advantages, making it worth defending at all costs, or conversely, a position not worth losing8,000 men over. [1, 2, 3, 4]
  • Vietnam War Connection: The 1969 Battle of Hamburger Hill is often cited as the inspiration for the modern idiom because it was an incredibly costly battle for a position that was abandoned shortly after, highlighting the idea of a "pointless" sacrifice. [1, 2]
  • Idiomatic Usage: It has evolved into a metaphor for a principle, cause, or argument that someone will defend with total dedication, even if the cost is personal ruin or the topic is insignificant. [1, 2]

I already receive benefits. So I am not applying. Not sure what you believe y life has to do with the hypocrisy of Ayn Rand?
I dated a woman briefly who gave me Atlas Shrugged. I was pretty busy and did not read the book. Later I watched the movie in 3 parts.
I decided to look into this author. I found her believing what our founders believed did and I became a fan of her philosophy.

Real people don't die on insignificant hills.

In The End, Ayn Rand Revealed Her Objectivist Thing Was All About - It Was Not Pretty or Objective - It was all based on a foundation of HYPOCRISY.

I never agreed with her beliefs. Nor do I agree with your flawed logic.
