Hunter Biden's Attorneys Just Went Scorched Earth on IRS Whistleblowers
18 Sep 2023 ~~ By Katie PavlichHunter Biden is suing the Internal Revenue Service, arguing whistleblower testimony from career agents was meant to embarrass him and was a violation of his privacy.
Congress and news reporters about their concerns that the case was not being managed properly, they violated his privacy rights as a taxpayer," the Washington Post reports. "Biden charges in the lawsuit that when two IRS agents went to Congress and news organizations complaining of alleged mishandling of the investigation by Justice Department officials, they disclosed information about the investigation, and about Biden’s taxes, that the law aims to keep secret."
George Washington University Law Professor Jonathan Turley is crying foul and classifying the move as whistleblower intimidation.

Commentary:
How dare they invade Hunter`s privacy while he was committing crimes.
This is pure unbridled lawfare. They are discouraging the hundreds of people that know about the Biden crime family and their crimes from testifying.
Maoist/DSA Democrats continually go scorched earth, always the nuclear option from them. Meanwhile, The GOP tries to make the media like them by being so called bipartisan i.e., assisting the Democrats.
This seems like some sort of flip-side to the old “We can't say anything because it's under investigation”. Here you have whistleblowers — who, by definition, are saying something. And I guess that's “illegal” because they are contributing to the investigation about which nothing can be said.
Remember when Democrats were sure Trump was guilty of something and demanded his tax returns.

More than a few Republicans will suspect that the real goal is to get Trump’s tax returns, look for anything embarrassing, and then leak that.

Here's how Democrats plan to get Donald Trump's tax returns
A 1924 law says the Treasury secretary "shall furnish" tax returns of any person for private review by the chairs of the House and Senate tax committees.
