Hunter Biden to be indicted in California !

When Mr. Potatohead said "the rich must pay their fair share of taxes" we now know he wasn't talking about his family, don't we?

it appears Hunter Biden has been indicted on tax charges in California !

1. is this a sign that Weiss is actually following the rule of law and holding Hunter to account ?

2. or is it simply a stalling tactic giving Hunter the excuse to take the fifth when he is asked questions in a Congressional closed door hearing by stating since he is currently under investigation he will take the fifth and not answer questions .

3. or is it a ploy by the DOJ to get Biden who's steadily dropping in the polls to pardon his son as his last act before announcing he isnt running again in 2024 .

since theres no mention in the indictment of FARA violations or questions about where the income came from and what Hunter did for said money it looks like number 2 is the correct answer .

California's Attorney General will plea bargain it all down to an apology and probation.

His Daddy Biden is probably saying, "Don't worry son, you are a Biden. We never pay for anything and we never get punished. Daddy has some money to get you 6 more attorneys and when we get done, it will be a parking ticket." :laugh2:

The federal government needs to just change taxation to a flat same tax percentage for all citizens. Say, 15%, no more, no less, no loopholes. For those who would complain that the rich wouldn't be paying their fair share, that's not true. By paying 15% of their huge income, as opposed to your average citizen paying 15%, they do pay more, as their income is larger.

THey wouldn't imprison him because ...?

Because he’s the presidents son? Because he belongs to a different political and social class than most people? Because he has money, influence, connections? Because those on the left will do everything in their power to keep it from happening? Because even if he were convicted, the judge, knowing his dad is president would probably just give him a light probation? Because even if he were sentenced to jail, Joe would pardon him (he’s not going to let a family member go to jail),

Various reasons.

Remember, this is the same sleazeball that told his baby momma he couldn't afford alimony, all the while spending a half million dollars on fucking prostitutes.

Bury the son of a bitch.

Weiss Charges Hunter Biden With Three Tax Felonies But Ignores Foreign Influence-Peddling To Protect Joe
Weiss Charges Hunter Biden With Three Tax Felonies But Ignores Foreign Influence-Peddling To Protect Joe
8 Dec2023 ~~By Tristan Justice

Special Counsel David Weiss unveiled nine federal tax-related charges against Hunter Biden on Thursday more than four months after a plea deal was derailed by a federal judge.
The Biden son will return to court facing three new felony charges and six misdemeanor counts relating to tax evasion and filing false returns, but he will escape penalties related to foreign influence-peddling that involves his father in the White House.

The Biden family, however, raked in upwards of $20 million from foreign oligarchs, including from China, Russia, and Kazakhstan, through a series of shell companies, many of which were established while Joe Biden was vice president. The Biden family’s influence-peddling schemes are now at the center of a congressional impeachment inquiry against the president.

In November, House Republicans on the Judiciary Committee formally subpoenaed one of Weiss’s top deputies, Delaware Assistant U.S. Attorney Lesley Wolf. Wolf is supposed to appear before lawmakers next week.
“Information available to the Committee suggests that you — either directly or by instructing others — are responsible for many of the decisions to deviate from standard investigative protocol during the Department’s investigation of Hunter Biden,” House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, wrote.

Hunter Biden has also been formally subpoenaed to deliver testimony before lawmakers in the lower chamber. On Wednesday, Jordan, with House Oversight Chairman James Comer of Kentucky, threatened to hold Hunter Biden in contempt over his refusal to comply with lawmakers’ request. Hunter Biden’s attorney offered only to allow testimony in a public forum. House Republicans denied the request but said Hunter Biden should have a public hearing at a later date following a closed-door deposition.

Commentary:
This is a step to stop Hunter from appearing before Congress? He is under investigation, which the President will pardon his son if convicted.
Surprisingly, the important felony of FARA violation is not part of the indictment.
You have to ask yourself why. Where did the money he received come from? What was the source of the sudden wealth?
Why hasn't Hunter been charged with FARA violations?

There’s Only One Explanation For Hunter Biden’s Simple Indictment Taking So Long: 2020 Election Interference
8 Dec 2023 ~~ By Margot Cleveland

What was missing from the lengthy indictment, however, was anything new of substance. On the contrary, the charges were so straightforward and stale that it’s incomprehensible they were not brought against Hunter Biden in 2019 or early 2020. The only logical explanation for the delay in charging Hunter was to interfere in the 2020 election by refraining from the Democrat candidate’s son.
Earlier testimony from the IRS whistleblowers bolsters that conclusion. The agents who came forward with complaints of political favoritism shown to the president’s son claimed the investigation was slow-walked and that they were prevented from taking investigative steps long before the November 2020 election.
However, it is not merely the failure of U.S. Attorney Weiss to charge Hunter Biden before the November 2020 general election that exposes the malfeasance of the Delaware U.S. attorney’s office; it is also the sweetheart plea deal Weiss’s team offered Hunter Biden. Under that since-soured plea agreement, Hunter Biden would have been allowed to plead to two misdemeanor tax offenses and enter into a pretrial diversion agreement on a gun charge.

Thursday’s indictment establishes that the federal prosecutors in Delaware had ample evidence and cause to charge Hunter Biden with multiple felony tax counts. And since Weiss has promised that Attorney General Merrick Garland assured him of the authority to prosecute Hunter Biden in California, there was no good reason for Weiss to play a weak hand and offer Hunter Biden a veritable get-out-of-jail-free card.

While that deal fell through, Thursday’s tougher indictment against Hunter Biden still should cause a great shrug of indifference because the more serious crimes — and the ones that could reach other members of the Biden-family syndicate — remain ignored.
Other than a passing reference in the opening paragraph to Hunter Biden being a lobbyist, Thursday’s indictment ignores the other potential criminal charges for Foreign Agents Registration Act violations, money laundering, and bribery.
The House oversight committees continue to expose evidence implicating not merely Hunter Biden but Jim Biden and Joe Biden in such offenses. Special Counsel Weiss, however, appears comfortable merely wrapping up the prosecutions that fell into his lap — a far cry from equal justice under the law.

Commentary:
Where did the money come from?
Where did that money go? I’m sure at least half went up his nose or into some hookers backsides, but that still leaves a hell of a lot of money floating around.
Appallingly, There will be no justice if the indictments and investigations ONLY stop at Hunter Biden.

The Biden crime family thrives at the preference of all Democrats. And they are losing the desire to vote for Joe and say they won't vote for Hunter.

I say wait till after Biden looses next year to Trump. Then let Trump put hunter away for a very long time.
It doesn't work that way. The judge/jury might put Hunter away. Trump would just not intervene. Then we would just have to wait for the next good president to get into office and pardon him.

You do realize President Biden will pardon or commute Trump's sentences right? After Trump is convicted and loses? Biden will be a bigger man. We can't have a former president in jail. Wouldn't look good.
