At 15, I found food and happiness working in a fast food restaurant making $1.10/hr and helping support our family.

i worked at mcdonalds when i was 18, ate the left overs at night, sometimes made me sick, i did everything i could to get a better job and i got a job at a hotel and finally got my stuff together and went to college and on to a professional degree.
