Someone found a glitch in the system, and word spread like a wildfire. Everyone wanted to get the $3000 loan, and only have to pay back $50 of it. Now all those involved lost what was probably a halfway decent paying job on Chicago's south side.

Text version link.

Target fires hundreds of Little Village warehouse employees apparently for medical loan scheme

From both the video and the text, some guy figured out the glitch and then told people about it for $200 to $300 bucks each.

So Target goes above and beyond and offers medical loans to their workers, and hundreds of them tried to scam their way to figure $2700 bucks after paying off the guy and the $50 bucks.

Target pays well and has great bennies for whse employees. I deliver to the Fridley location. They could have been on easy street
....but nnnooooo

They may have trouble getting hired at Amazon now, however, no criminal charges, they could lie about it on their application. I'm guessing Amazon may be in a position that they won't look too closely, they always need workers.

I think it would be more of an issue to get the Cook County DA to prosecute a few hundred people.

The ringleader should be prosecuted though. He found the glitch and spread it for profit.

He might have gotten a reward for pointing it out.

I suspect 90% of the fired workers are minorities
