Not the middle of nowhere
As I have been saying for quite some time.......the skeptics keep winning!! Not even debatable.......these cheesedicks go on.........and on.............and on...............and on........about the 97% but what has it netted them in 25 years?:fu:

How about THIS >>>>

Fossil fuel firms accused of renewable lobby takeover to push gas

Who's not winning?:eusa_dance::eusa_dance::eusa_dance:

Fossil fuels are BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMING in Europe..............ftmfw. Consumers will be very pleased!!!:2up:

Actually, this is the route that we are taking. Natural gas is a natural bridge to go with renewables. It is very quick on and off, and has far less pollution than coal. And, by the time the natural gas generation plants reach their natural span, we will either have fusion, or grid scale batteries to make the renewables 24/7.

Worldwide the renewables are growing by double digit percentages. Really, the present energy companies would be fools not to get in on it. After all, they are in business to make a profit, not to poke unnecessary holes in the ground.

The point of the OP is that the fossil fuel industry are using every tactic they can to slow the development of renewables down.

Yes, that is what the rubes would like to believe will happen. But we see from the growth of wind and solar in that ultra-liberal state of Texas that when the utilities realize that they can make more profit with less problems from renewables, they will go that route. After all, they are in business to make a profit.

The increase by % argument falls flat on its face when placed in a broader context..............FLAT on its face. The % argument is a long time progressive ruse that works only in the dim witted and uninformed. Progressives always fuck with the statistics in a manner that makes t hem look impressive.

So I'll give a boobs analogy for people to understand..............

Kate Hudson could tell the world her boobs were increasing 10% a year in size.......but its gonna take her about 100 years to look like Sofia Vergara and in the interim, nobody is going to care. Are we getting this?

So..............go look at any graph comparing renewable energy to fossil fuels and you are looking at Kate Hudson standing next to Sofia Vergara.

So.....one can easily see how foolish it is to buy the lame progressive argument that renewables are an impact on the energy scene. They're not.............theyre a joke.

How much of a joke?

Oh..............and every trusted projection decades out displays virtually the same looking graph!!!

Yep.....when progressives start using "%" and terms like "growth", the radar needs to come up s0ns!!! Don't be a sucker.:coffee:

God forbid..........profit!! :ack-1:

But heres the thing...........the consumers get ripped off with renewables because its energy that gets forced upon people by the government. You cant do renewables on their own..........you first have to screw fossil fuel energy with carbon taxes via phony EPA regulations. They charge the electric companies..........who pass it on to the consumer in the form of higher bills. Obama is even on YOUTUBE admitting it. The renewable energy sector dies in two weeks without government support!!:2up::eusa_dance::eusa_dance:

Fossil fuels will last long past the time fusion comes on line, so why bother with "renewables?"
