Obumble and Lerch outdid themselves on this joke of an agreement. All it has done is emboldened and rejuvenated the largest Terrorist state in the world. Do you notice a striking similarity to the ACA? Both have had the opposite affect on what they were supposed to address.

Have they got nukes yet?

That a boy, no nukes yet so it must be working. Brilliant!

How long must we wait to decide whether the agreement was a success or not?

They gave up almost all of their nuclear materials, shut down their best reactors, and don't have nukes yet. So it seems to be going pretty okay so far.

What about all of the OP's counter-arguments to that?
You never considered them with your Liberal 'facts' did you?

If the agreement is not amended, and they get a nuke, it failed.

In that case, so far, it's a success.

Uh, I don't know about you, but I'm still alive.....listen, this fear of a nuclear attack is so yesterday. Get a grip and go outside the cave, the weather is marvelous

I simply wonder how freeing up money so Iran can buy HV or FAE technology is an improvement on nuke technology?

Look guys... if the deal actually works, I am all for it. *IF* it actually works. If Iran really did dismantle all of their centrifuges.... WITHOUT replacing them.... and if they agree, and we can validate that they have followed the agreement....

Then fine. I'm all for it. We must uphold our end of the bargain. We agreed to this... because you morons voted for that idiot Obama, so now we have to follow what we agreed to.

You ask us on the right-wing, why we're not enthusiastic? Because we had Bill Clinton announce the exact same type of agreement over NKorea, and look how that turned out.

The moment any administration makes such and agreement, they have invested interest in ignoring anything that counters the claims. Clinton's administration ignored everything for a decade, and then boom... oh look who has nukes pointed at their neighbors.

So here's the catch. Getting rid of a bunch of nuclear material doesn't mean diddly jack. Iran has access to three Uranium mines, all of which can be used to replace any nuclear fuel given to Russia.

Dismantling 12,000 centrifuges is fine... but honestly, they can be rebuilt, and replaced, without much effort. And honestly, you don't need 12,000 of them to make a bomb. Sorry guys, you don't. Helpful, yes. Required, no.

Lastly, while it's a great sign of progress, if they are willing to pour concrete down one nuclear reactor core.... that's nifty.... but meaningless. Doesn't matter if it was the best reactor they had, or the worst.

You can get plutonium from any reactor. Any reactor at all. Best, worst, smallest, largest. Doesn't matter. Plutonium is a natural by product of standard reactor function. If my count is right, Iran has a total of 9 functioning reactors. All of which can produce material for a nuclear bomb.

AGAIN>..... if it works. Great. But we have to watch this like a hawk, because it would be nothing to build a bomb in secret, and just like the NKoreans, 'surprise!' we have a bomb now.
