Trump's devoted followers have wiped their feet and their memories of Trump 1.0 and are swallowing a whole new pile of lies.
How's that TrumpCare working for you? Remember the constant, daily promise to repeal and replace Obamacare? I can't help but wonder exactly how one accepts one has been hornswoggled so completely. Is it ego? The inability to accept one was so easily fooled?
I mean, not one of Trump's followers asked or looked for Trump's replacement! And believe me, I asked them countless times to show it to me, to no avail. It just pissed them off.
Obama put his horrible plan on the table almost a year before he took office, and that gave Fox News and other propagandists LOTS of time to invent hoaxes about it. Remember "death panels"?
Now you might think that is why Trump kept his plan close to his chest so it would not be exposed to lies.
The problem with that logic is...he had no plan!
So how's that working out?
On a per capita basis, health spending has increased in the last five decades from $353 per year in 1970 to $14,570 per year in 2023. In constant 2023 dollars, the increase was from $2,151 in 1970 to $14,570 in 2023.
Trump promised his TrumpCare would be "much less expensive and much better". He called it beautiful and terrific.
Why do people complain about 3 percent inflation for groceries but not skyrocketing health care costs? Why do they not complain about Trump's massive hoax on them?
Selective memories which blank out uncomfortable credulity.

How has U.S. spending on healthcare changed over time?
