I just explained to you why he won. The part I left out was the fact that R's are historically loyal to him no matter what he does or how badly he screws things up. They are blindly devoted. Current polls indicate he still has close to 80% support among R's despite trump 2.0 being a disaster of broken laws and broken promises.

I'm not sure that is true, but I agree that it is the safest assumption.

So, our only wise course is to bomb the Iranian government, it's nuclear sites, and its military until it no longer matters whether they trust us or not. No cease fire, no multiple point plan, and no trust will be needed. Cripple their ability to attack, and to bring in money with which to pay terrorists to attack and they are no longer a concern.

Refresh our stockpile of weapons, let the free market encourage more domestic drilling, and we are better and stronger than ever.

Europe would take a big hit but in a generation they would convert to EV cars (with help from China) and Renewables would be the massive winner.

I don't think you get domestic drilling....

US government doesn't drill for oil unless the nationalise the whole industry. Oil is a global commodity, oil produced in US is sold through out the world, it can be shipped any where for less than 1c a gallon.

US would suffer more than most because their reliance on Oil... EU and China have been moving away from it because it is unreliable.

Hard to tell who wants to end the war more. trump facing the consequences of his mistake or Iranians tiring of being bombed. A 15 point plan is an awful lot of points to agree on. The world eagerly awaits the outcome.

One motivation for Iran is by its actions since the war began it has positioned itself as an international pariah.

Just because Trump is ready for peace doesn't mean Iran will be. They now see Trump is very concerned about this war lasting much longer, so Iran is going to hold out for a long time and try to get the best possible deal they can.

Agreed. But I found the reporting on what Iran and Oman are doing to be encouraging. trump wants to extricate himself from this disaster he and Bebe created. If it can be done without more bombing and the destruction of energy infrastructure with the Strait being opened that's a win-win.

Not true. The Gulf states have adequate defenses to stop most drone attacks, and are upgrading them.

The EU has the most expensive electricity on the planet, they can't handle more EVs, or afford more renewables
