How would you grade Trump's time in office?

Trump's approval is plummeting in almost every group he gained on in the election. If this holds, the Republicans will be walking into a midterm disaster. The only thing that will keep it from being as bloody as 2018 is all the gerrymandering, but down ballot it can have severe consequences in state and local elections.

I will be voting for the democrat for my state legislature seat this fall. Why it is somewhat about policy I suppose, it is more about me already knowing both candidates and the republican one is not someone I particularly like personally or politically. I won't vote in the Governor race. The dem will win by double digits though.

I would say Trump is doing poorly. Too many unforced errors on his part. Know idea who I will vote for next year in the midterms other than it won't be for the current republican incumbent.

Not bad, not good. He is a lot better then the last fool and I have no doubt better then what was the vice president had she gotten in. All in all both cults have not put up great choices in years.

The media polls are complete bullshit. In all three Trump elections the polls were off and moderately to heavily biased against him.

Tell me why anyone should trust the legacy media polls now?

Key Quote: The systematic underestimation of Trump’s support across three consecutive election cycles suggests a deeper issue, such as sampling biases or other methodological shortcomings, rather than mere random error.

The polls were much better at estimating support for the Democratic candidates in all three presidential election cycles. The average Democratic polling error is 0.4 percentage points, and the change from year to year resembles the random error you would expect to see in polling – random fluctuations around zero.

Some Democrats’ surprised reactions to the 2024 presidential election results reveal another layer to this story – the role of the contemporary media landscape, echo chambers and individualized social media feeds in shaping public perception and amplifying the surprise when expectations clash with reality.

I would rate him highly, he's doing exactly what I elected him to do. Donald J. Trump doesn't care whether you like him or not, and he doesn't care about idiotic polls that were made to create public opinion instead of gauging it. He is not a career politician running for office after this term is over, so he's not concerned about what polls say.

When his four years are up, he'll still be a world-famous multi-billionaire with properties all over the world, and he'll still have a beautiful wife and wonderful kids. You on the other hand, will still sitting in front of a computer monitor, posting threads about how much you hated Trump, or how much you hate whatever next GOP President.

I never cared for polls, I find the numbers can change for the oddest reasons and mostly not accurate. I am in agreement with the above poster mostly. I give Trump a B- though. I would like to see more heads role and more corruption cleaned up. The Epstein files need to be made public and those involved in sexual offenses prosecuted.
Did you mean roll?

Trump doesn't control that. Do you care to reconsider your grade?

So the 48% the polls always show. Until Election Day when you have to make a choice and it jumps to 52%.

S'wonderful.

It’s amazing how fast these left wing organizations fold when the tax dollars stop. They keep telling us how vital and loved they are but once the government funds dry up they have no support. PBS didn’t even ******* try to survive on their own. It’s almost like they know they can’t.
