Vladimir Putin could lay waste to the United States if he wanted, very simply.

Let's say the Russians / Putin did not hack / help Trump in the election - the FBI has already said there is no link between Russia / Putin and Trump ...

... it doesn't matter either way. Part of the country believes they are and the others don't (or don't care).

All Putin would have to do would he to wait until Trump takes office, mayb have hackers plant a large amout of money into one of Trump's bank account as part of the frame, maybe doctor some paperwork, and publicly announce that he is happy that 'his boy' won, that 'yes' he has been communicating and coordinating with Trump. Putin declaring it to be so would be enough to set the liberals/snowflakes off...

A near civil war will break out in the US, liberals declaring Trump should be removed from office, never-Trump-ers suggesting the VP take over until a full investigation, Trump supporters pushing back, yadda yadda...

The US would be rendered nearly paralyzed in the world while trying to sort this out, and no matter what, the US would not have a 'legitimate' President no matter who remained in / took over power....

Easiest way to lay waste to America would be to carry on Obama's legacy policies for just two or three more years. Would take no effort at all!
