In many instances, it is a well known economic fact, that if you cut taxes & regulations, it spurs growth, which in turn leads to greater revenue streams for the government, and then, you have more to fund your programs.

The real problem, is most of the folks on the left just don't have a clue about how economics work. If they did, and they really wanted higher pay for more people, and lower prices, they would not insist on counter productive economic policies like minimum wage, rent control. . . or the latest insane policy prescription from the DNC presidential candidate, government food price controls.

That will distort market price signals, cause shortages, w/o the counteracting pressure to increase supply due to prices.
