What welfare has done is, it has allowed single women to be able to survive without a father in the household, that is, a household that is in poverty, but still surviving.

But if survival meant needing a father in the household, women simply would not have that option as an intentional choice and in such large numbers.

The date was June 25, 1962. On that date it was decided that prayer should not be allowed in the public schools in the United States. Since that time and even before then, morals and values that this country once had have plumaged further and further

down hill. As a result of this act by the citizens and government in the United States at that time, morals that were once upheld by families and young people in this country have declined tremendously. Prayer being taken out of our schools, is this the reason our schools have become so violent?

Is it any wonder that single parent homes exponentially increased after the 1950's?

Absolutely, no argument.
But that doesn't change the fact that the policies are all hosted by liberals, and continue to be to this day.
Black students are allowed to perform poorly. Excused and continue to advance through the education system despite the fact they are performing so far below average. Then they are accepted in universities, everything paid for. And that excusing and ignoring of poor performance continues all the way until eventually the student just quits. And because of all of that excusing and ignoring.... they are not prepared for adult life. Having nowhere else to turn but either low level shit jobs or crime.
And Democrats pat each other on the back and just keeps right on pumping 100s of $millions into miserably failing programs to make themselves feel good. Like I say, virtue signaling is king.

Male breadwinners lost employment in urban manufacturing which left the cities.
Welfare was available to support families but was reduced if there was an unemployed male in the household

During WWII, those manufacturing jobs boomed and black families prospered. By the late 1960s, those jobs left the cities and black families were left behind.
