With Democrats poised to win both Georgia Senate races, Vice President-elect Kamala Harris could become a crucial tie-breaking vote in an evenly divided Senate.

While this would ordinarily put Harris in a powerful position, Bloomberg News reporter Steven Dennis points out that Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) in 2017 inadvertently gave Harris even more power with his bid to expand the use of budget reconciliation to repeal the Affordable Care Act.

Didn’t see that coming did you Ted?

These people are so freakin' short-sighted.

Cruz is a cuck. And ultimately a moron despite the fact that the right holds him out to be some masterful Oxford style debater. I'm going to enjoy watching the show today and watching Cruise fling what's left of his Presidential aspirations into the fire.

Most of all though, if things hold, I'm going to enjoy watching the expression on McConnell's turtled face the first time Kamala Harris strolls into the Senate chamber to cast the tie breaking vote. That will be priceless.

Since it's rare for an incumbent to lose a second term the Texas lapdog thought he had it in the bag. Elections have consequences.
