Guardsman removed from DC mission after FBI said troop ‘expressed white supremacist ideology’ onlineI guardsman removed from a 1.3+ million active duty servicemen is significant? Indicative of all?

One guardsman out of 1.3+ million active duty service members is significant? Constitutes 'some'? And why didn't you post usable links so we could see the whole story?

First paragraph:
"A Fort Liberty soldier with ties to a white supremacist group has been removed from the Army after his indictment on federal false statement and weapons charges, officials at the North Carolina Army post said Wednesday. . ."

Obviously he was removed for illegal weapons charges and for perjury and he wasn't removed because he was a white supremacist.

Care to try again?

oh, i see - you're now moving the goal posts & expect me to post every one? there are multiple sources dating back several years stating that white nationalism is becoming a problem w/in the military.

They literally voted to ruin their own lives.

Really sad, but they should have known better.

There are over 2 million Federal employees....I'm pretty sure that a fairly large percentage of them are Trump supporters.
Are you talking about the ones who actually show up and do the work? They know better that anyone how bloated and inefficient the Federal Government is. They also know that their work ethic is probably going to keep them on the payroll. As for the others? Who cares?

The theory of narrative identity postulates that individuals, such as the OP form an identity by integrating their life experiences into an internalized, evolving story of the self that provides the individual with a sense of unity and purpose in life.[1] This life narrative integrates one's reconstructed past, perceived present, and imagined future. Furthermore, this narrative is a story – it has characters, episodes, imagery, a setting, plots, and themes and often follows the traditional model of a story, having a beginning (initiating event), middle (an attempt and a consequence), and an end (denouement). Narrative identity is the focus of interdisciplinary research, with deep roots in psychology.

Stupid assumption on your part...not the case at all.

So you are stupid enough to believe that there are not hundreds of thousands of Federal employees that voted for Trump?

There are imbecile MAGAts working in the Federal government, people just as stupid as you are....well, maybe not quite as stupid.
when i retired from the PO a few years ago it was about 60/40 democrats.....when i started 30 years ago it was 90/10 democrats easily...

Stupid assumption on your part...not the case at all.
In every organization there are people who are assets and there are people who are nothing more than ballast. Good employees are always in demand. Ones that don't show up and could care less? They'll be the last to be hired again.

I'm sure there were some good employees at USAID....and Trump and Musk made zero effort to keep them around.

Evidence of what, fucktard??

Simple statistical probabilities will tell you that at least a few hundred thousand Trump supporters work for the Federal government.

But that is book learning...something unfamiliar to you.
Statistics, not probabilities, that I have already posted say that 95% or more federal employees intended to vote Democrat. If every single one of the remainder voted Republican--and that is a huge IF--at most 150,000 or so voted GOP. And probably most or all of those are people living and working in red states where they made little, if any, difference in the outcome of the election.

I expect honorable people who malign others to have credible evidence for that. Otherwise there is no reason to believe or respect your opinion. If it is such a problem, surely you can find one credible source--I don't consider propaganda publications to be credible--to back up your opinion on that.

just like the blanket J6 pardons... some were low level & some were vicious terrorists. both were let out with equal footing.

Post your credible evidence. Otherwise I have no incentive of any kind to believe you.
You are honestly stupid enough to believe that white supremacists have not been kicked out of the military??

That is the hill your imbecile MAGA ass wants to die on??

I love hearing Republicans rant that the Civil Service is full of Democrats who support Democratic candidates

Republicans have been spreading hate and disrespect for Government workers since Reagan and they are puzzled why Federal Employees don’t vote for them

Civil Servant = Civil Master. :(

To understand the current problem, it’s helpful to examine the history of the relationship between the U.S. military and extremism — especially white supremacy.

This is a critical question, and one that concerns both active duty military members and veterans. But to understand the current problem, it’s helpful to examine the history of the relationship between the U.S. military and extremism — especially white supremacy. Historically, the American military has not wanted extremists in its ranks, but it has failed to establish a comprehensive way to screen them out. And surveys show that soldiers themselves are noticing significant extremist thinking among their peers. Thus, this is not a new problem but rather a long-simmering one that now, for various reasons, may be starting to boil.
Radicalization of the kind displayed by Hasson often depends on several factors: background, beliefs, experiences and peer networks. In this regard, it is important to note that Army and Marine Corps recruits are disproportionately drawn from the southeast and northwest, regions that have experienced significant growth in extreme far-right groups. Furthermore, a 1998 Department of Defense study found that adult leaders of far-right extremist groups encouraged young men and women to enlist in the military to gain access to weapons, military training and other personnel prior to returning to civilian life.

If you know of a problem with white supremacy in the military, how do you know that? What problem does it present? From what source? Post it.

I'm sure there were some good employees at USAID....and Trump and Musk made zero effort to keep them around.
The good things that USAID was doing is being folded into the State Department. As I said before...the good employees will have a job...the ones that were milking the system will not.

I don't like my nose, it is too big and makes me look bad, I think it is best I just cut it off.

For the first time in years, the military are exceeding their recruitment goals. Why do you thank that is? Because people from the fly over States who believe in God and Country are no longer being excluded? Because "woke" is no longer the order of business in the military?
