How "smart" do you think you are?

And BTW - I have no idea why they placed Hawking/Einstein as "similar IQ" - both are believed to be 160 or higher
Thanks….I made the same point. The OP seems to be placing herself in the same category as those geniuses.

Not sure about Jobs but I'm pretty sure Einstein and Hawkings IQs were more in the 180-190 range. That said, you are all in the 99th percentile which is a good place to be. 130-140 is about the upper tier of intelligence with a modicum of normalcy still. Once you start getting up into 150 and higher, individuals start losing social skills and become nerds, geeks, obsessed with math and spending more time like Sheldon Cooper scribbling on a blackboard than worrying about the normal and important things in life, like girls.

I know my S.A.T score from the test I took in 1972.

I took it stoned because I wanted everything to be as natural as possible.
I had HORRIBLE menstrual cramps that day. (I’m sure you can’t relate….unless you are one of those transgender people.) Probably impacted my score somewhat, but it was still well above average. If I were black, it would have been good enough for Harvard! For a white, it was good enough for 2nd tier.

For the record, I think I’m smart enough not to start a thread about how high my IQ is.

I do keep exploring the validity of my own views. I have even changed my mind on some issues based on being able and willing to see “both” sides.

When I was in my 20s, I thought I knew everything. In my 60s I realized I didn't know a damn thing.

As I got older, looking back, I realized that in my 20s I was still a child, just beginning to learn and that one does not really see the world clearly yet until they enter their 50s.

You just posted in your OP that Einstein and Jobs had IQs similar to yours.
That is what the results stated, not me. Big difference there. I don't claim to be smarter than anyone.

So the results of your IQ test claimed that Jobs and Einstein had similar scores to you? I’d wonder about the validity of that test.

Emotions determine how intelligence is applied so to make a serious test you need to do an MMPI along with the IQ test.
