How should we treat India? The Moscow empire is now offering India a $3–$4 discount per barrel on Urals crude compared to Brent—up from just $1.

LNG is clean it impairs Russias ability to find war. It increases jobs as we can supply Europe. It makes so much sense of course Biden and democrats oppose it. Pure stupidity

Kim Jong Un has arrived in Beijing to attend a military parade with his Chinese and Russian counterparts, an event that could demonstrate potential three-way unity against the United States.

Add to that India. Don isn't making a lot of friends in the world. Us liberals aren't rooting against Trump. We are worried that you idiots are destroying America. We don't have the power to stop you guys. We can only sit and watch as the world falls apart and America becomes less relevant as our trading partners look for new partners.

Kim has also agreed to additionally send thousands of military construction workers and deminers to Russia’s Kursk region

Since aligning with Russia, North Korea has become more vocal in international affairs beyond the Korean Peninsula, issuing diplomatic statements on conflicts in the Middle East and in the Taiwan Strait, while portraying itself as a part of a united front against Washington.
Some experts say Kim’s presence at the multilateral event in Beijing is part of efforts to develop partnerships with other nations close to China and Russia.

Kim’s trip comes as U.S., President Donald Trump and new liberal South Korean President Lee Jae Myung have repeatedly expressed their hopes to restart talks with North Korea. North Korea has been shunning talks with the U.S. and South Korea and pushing to expand its nuclear and missile arsenals since Kim’s earlier round of diplomacy with Trump collapsed in 2019.

The goal is to hurt Russias economy so they cant fund the war. Russia depends on oil and LNG.
Cool so answer the question. Why should India participate in not buying Russian gas if Europe is going to buy it? Russia is allegedly threatening Europe, but India is supposed to care about that more than Europe?

And Russia produces the second most LNG on the planet. Their gas is going to be purchased by someone.

Europe has to have LNG from Russia because they can't get it from us YET! India is getting Russian oil at a huge discount yet still feeding their conquest of Ukraine.

So. That doesnt answer the question why India should care more about the Russian threat to Europe than Europe obviously does. I'm not questioning that Europe "needs the LNG" but if Russia is actually a threat to invade Europe (which they aren't) Europe wouldn't be funding their ability to do so and if they are funding it why should India make a different decision?

And for the record the myth that Russia won't be selling it's LNG if Europe stops buying it is moronic.

Russia produces the second most LNG on the planet at about 700 million metric tonnes per year. That's as much as 3-6 combined on the list of LNG producing countries. The US produces around 900. There isnt 700 million tonnes of spare capacity out there, so someone is going to buy it.
Oil and natural gas are different. One does not replace the other.
Reallly? Tell me more Bill Nye the science guy...

And Trump made the need for gas/oil that much greater by completely defunding alternative energy/green technology. My buddy is an engineer who works on battery cars. I just found out he lost his job.

Anyways, gas this weekend was $3.50 a gallon. I'm wondering if Russia might send some of their gas our way. If we can save 20 cents **** it. **** Ukraine. Right MAGA idiots?

You cant blame everything on Trump.

If I recall correctly Trump told Europe during his last term that they were far too dependant on Russian LNG and that the US could supply it to them. Europe told him to pound sand. So....

the propaganda you are spewing against India.
I have posted here only the MSM, well-established facts , Indian 🇮🇳Hindu empire is a nasty , imperialistic, oppressive, undemocratic crap hole . If you disagree, post your MSM links, I am ready for a civilized conversation.

But, 🇮🇳They are not our friends, OR ALLIES and never have been. Life in Kashmir for the natives is very similar to the life of Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars under Moscow's 🇷🇺 imperialistic occupation. Are you ok, with Indian cast system ?

Germany's reliance on stolen Siberian gas and oil was not a mistake, but a crime that must be fully investigated. This article is from 2018, and things have changed completely in Europe since then.

No he's definitely war monger who wants this conflict to continue. Due to the "Russian threat to Europe"....

Couchpotato

Trump wasn’t the first to warn that gas and oil from the Moscow empire pose the greatest danger to Europe. Eastern European countries have long warned about the consequences of German-Moscow energy deals—even Lukashenka, Moscow’s only formal "ally" in Europe, raised concerns. These deals, especially Nord Stream 1 and 2, were repeatedly criticized by Poland, Ukraine, and the Baltic states for deepening Europe’s dependence on Moscow imperial energy and giving the Kremlin leverage over EU policy.
Let’s not forget: the United States made billions off Siberian resources. American oil and service companies like SLB (formerly Schlumberger), Baker Hughes, and Halliburton provided equipment and expertise that helped sustain Moscow imperial’s oil production for decades. Even after the 2014 annexation of Crimea, many of these companies continued operating in Moscow empire, indirectly supporting Moscow’s imperial ambitions through energy infrastructure and technology.
But when the Moscow empire launched its second invasion of Ukraine in 2022, Europe’s economic policy changed forever. The continent began to cut ties with Moscow imperial energy, diversify its supply chains, and accelerate investment in renewables. Business with a predatory empire was no longer acceptable. Meanwhile, India took a different path. As reported by Al Jazeera, Reliance Industries—led by Asia’s richest man, Mukesh Ambani—dramatically increased its imports of Moscow imperial crude, jumping from 3% to nearly 50%. Refined products from this oil were then exported to countries that had sanctioned Moscow empire , including the U.S. and EU, creating a paradox where Western nations indirectly consumed Moscow imperial energy despite their embargoes.

Always give a 🇷🇺 bully what they want, so they will stop bullying? Who in their right mind believes that? Giving a bully what they want only convinces the bully that bullying works and they bully some more.

Clearly enough countries continue to do business with Russia that how many years later they continue to fight this war? How? If no one is doing business with Russia, how is their economy still working?

I thought they couldn't buy things they needed for manufacturing and that was going to end the war. Clearly they are getting everything they need, from somewhere. Even the USA continues to do business with Russia.
