I say about fourteen is a bit too old and fifteen and sixteen is WAY too old. Are there any other thoughts about this?

I think my final trick-ot-treat was 13. I went as Honey West, in a black vinyl trench coat.I say about fourteen is a bit too old and fifteen and sixteen is WAY too old. Are there any other thoughts about this?

Good point, we shouldn't deprive women of the fine tradition of scanty Halloween costumes!
No, I’d want to show her the special stuff I had in the back.I dont know, but if she came knocking at your door would you tell her she was too old for candy?

Why do parents spend 364 days a year telling their children to not take candy from strangers, then, one day a year on October 31, they dress them up and send them out to do just that, take candy from strangers...

I'm a woman myself so if she didn't come to the door with any children I'd say she was too old for trick-or-treating. You're never too old for candy though.
For the same reason we spent decades telling folks not to get into a car with a stranger, and now we have an app. on a smart phone where you can order a ride from one?Why do parents spend 364 days a year telling their children to not take candy from strangers, then, one day a year on October 31, they dress them up and send them out to do just that, take candy from strangers...
Good question, I don't know lol but I always went trick-or-treating around my own neighborhood and my mom would always inspect the candy first.
