The Americans that I know are disappointed that the Democrats got away with stealing the Senate seats but are glad the Democrats were kicked out of the House.

Being in Florida there is tremendous joy that the Republicans flipped five House Democrat seats, have a super majority in the Florida Legislature, the Democrats hold no state wide office, that there are two Republican Senators and that DeSantis won by an overwhelming majority.

It's not happening fast enough. The Nazis managed to hurt millions of people during their reign and apparently in the end many were perfectly ok with chewing on a cyanide capsule to avoid prosecution and execution. By then Europe was in shambles because of them, and arguably it lasted for decades after that because many of their conquered lands became Soviet States. Many Germans continued being virtual , Nazis as Stasi working for the USSR right until around 1990.
