Tell me about it. I once had a GF who was an alcoholic. She was a model in LA back in the 80's, hung out with rock musicians then, and was non-practicing Jewish. She could put away a half pint or more of cheap vodka in a couple minutes, then it invariably led to us having a fight or her being arrested.

Sadly, I woke up one morning in 2006 and found her dead on the floor from a heart attack.
