Job growth is growing at about the same rate it has been for 9 years now.

GDP growth is nowhere near record levels. 2018 was 2.9%, no higher than it was in 2015.

Wage growth is also nowhere near record levels.

President Trump's approval rating has dropped to the sub 40% range in several polls since the partially unredacted Mueller Report has been made available to the public. Even polls that normally favor the President are showing sharp decreases. Will our Liar in Chief ever reach even a modest 50% approval rating by more than one always favorable poll for a week or will his numbers continue to drop as more and more citizens accept the conclusion that he is an unacceptable dishonest buffoon unworthy of the Presidency.

The D field for the president is a circular firing squad even according to Obama. So, Trump will have incumbency and a decent or better national economy with the cherry on top being dirt on the D nominee provided by the failed candidates for the D nomination.

The D nomination winning candidate will be covered in mud from the start. The Blue states economy is in huge trouble now and will be in much worse trouble when Barr is finished with working them over on sanctuary status and their bond ratings will decline. High yield munis are a blue state disease that will get worse as time goes on. 2020 will be a cakewalk for Trump because the Ds can't deliver on anything that the Rs don't want.

Presidential polls serve no purpose other than to reflect what the media is telling people. If the media was as sympathetic toward President Trump as they were toward Obama, Trump's approval rating would be in the 80% range.
