How is this legal?

A university conducting sick experiments on prison inmates, injecting them with pesticides?

It's OK, Easy, this was done decades ago under different laws and conditions than today. That excuse works everywhere except where race and slavery are concerned! :smoke:

But it's OK for them to admit that now, this is California and they no longer need to experiment on California inmates, they now have J6 detainees to use, and they all agree these people are illegal combatants with no human rights. Ask any democrat-- -- less rights than a dog. 😥

Nope. they still have the same rights as they always had. That's why they are having trials.

Reading is fundamental. So is comprehension.

A prominent California medical school is apologizing for conducting dozens of experiments on prison inmates in the 1960s and 1970s that it now says were unethical.
From the piece cited in the OP (which is not behind any paywall).

If anyone should have to pay reparations it should be these assholes.

Of cousre the US govt conducted similar experiments on military members, giving them / injecting then with LSD, radioactive material...
