How did they become misaligned when he first pulls them out(around 0:47)? There seems to be a little editing around the 0:36 mark... Nifty optical illusion trick though.

Yeah two things... one, they edit out a portion of the moving out of the first two pieces both times they do it, why? Two, the squares don't line up very well as well as size twice while moving.

Still... a cool illusion.
