How does it help climate change to reduce drilling in the US while asking Saudia Arabia and Venezuela to drill more?

The groomer cult has been dumbed to the level of a shit-eating rat and will easily swallow "Venezuelan oil is cleaner" if they're fed it.... they're much more interested in light sentences for statutory rape ...

Venezuelan oil is heavy, sour crude.

The bed wetters are ignoring the entire issue, so there is nothing coming out of media matters for them to parrot.

Everyone knows MMGW is a fuckin scam anyway.

Since 2008 the US has tripled it's output. The only reduction in drilling since, in the US Oil patch came under Trump during the Covid crisis.
Baloney. US oil production in Jan 2016 was 9214K barrels. It dropped to 8544K in August of that year, then rose steadily during Trump's administration to a high of 13100k barrels in February of 2020 then dropped off some due to covid. After two years under Biden it has not yet reached the February 2020 figure. It doesn't matter what a person thinks of Trump or Biden, math is math.

2008 lowest production month was Sept. several weeks below 4mbd.

12mbd is triple that. How about rig count? Didn't that also drop to a record low while Trump was in office. That number has naturally tripled since then too because, we have to increase the number of production wells.

Oil production doubled between 2008 and 2016 because the ppb was high enough to cause investment in increased production... Drilling, rig counts and exploration. It coasted until 2020 when over 200 US oil companies declared bankruptcy.

You aren't even using your own chart properly. Trump wasn't in office in 2008. Your own chart shows the rise in production when Trump was in office and the fall in production started in 2020.

In 2017 Trump threatened the Saudis to reduce output, because the low ppb threatened US producers. Remember the US has the highest lift costs in the world.

Trump has very little to do with the Oil Patch. The US has not reduced drilling and is not reducing drilling, as recent history shows. We didn't triple our output since 2008 by reducing our drilling. The Oil Patch reduces drilling based on economics, not government mandates like OPEC + countries do.

I cant figure this one out.

Can someone explain to me how it helps climate change to reduce US drilling while increasing drilling in SA and Venezuela?

Walk me through the math.

PRODUCTION OF CRUDE OIL IS NOT "DRILLING". DRILLING IS EXPLORATION AND TAKES YEARS TO REACH THE PRODUCTION STAGE. PRODUCTION IS PUMPING THE OIL OUT OF THE GROUND.

OPEC IS REDUCING PRODUCTION, NOT DRILLING. THE USA IS REDUCING PRODUCTION, NOT DRILLING. THEY HAVEN'T STOPPED DRILLING, THEY'VE STOPPED PUMPING THE OIL OUT OF THE GROUND.

/——/ You’re either stupid or just playing stupid. There was a world wide glut of oil and Trump asked the Saudis to cut production to save US jobs. And that pisses you off to no end.

/——-/ No, the U.S. hasn’t stopped producing oil.
Not all oil can be used to make gasoline. There are hundreds of products made from different grades.
