• Detroit – Man killed in an unrelated fight nearby, not linked to BLM protests.

• Omaha - Bar owner shot a patron who attended a rally, not linked to BLM protest
• Davenport, Iowa - A woman was shot in a nearby Wal-mart, not linked to BLM protests
• Two men killed in Cicero, IL – Reportedly by outsiders exploiting unrest. Local authorities blamed gang-related activity.
• Multiple looters or anti-looters killed (3) – In some cases, property owners or civilians used force during looting incidents.

Protest-Affiliated or Politically Motivated Killings

• Around 3 deaths possibly linked to individuals supporting the protests, usually from confrontations where political or protest-related arguments escalated to violence. However, only one involved organized protest activity.
