Trophy points are awarded by reaching certain levels. When you receive trophy points in your alerts, click on it and you'll be taken to a list of trophy points. Ratings are a total of thanks, agrees, funny and informative points you receive from other members.

OK thanks for the above explanation. I wish it was also linked to some monetary reward. My credit card company rewards me for spending money on the card by.....giving me cash incentives to spend more money so they can make even more money off me!!! Oh well, there goes my lunch money!!! ;-)
