In the U.S.....our crime didn't start to go up until the mid 1960s......when the Great Society destroyed poor families in democrat party controlled cities.....Europe didn't have this issue because their culture was still shocked by the effects of World War 2.....they are now out of that shock and their welfare state policies, and anti-police culture is starting to allow criminals to run free......they are at the point we were at around the mid 60s.......

Yes, but do you believe that any one of those reasons for the problem of murder by gun in America is more significant than the culture of violence that is created by continuous wars?

For example, the easy access to guns, could be qualified by type of guns that are meant for killing people. Those type of guns are easily obrained by people who can't be branded as bad guys at the time when they choose the gun. But who can doubt that a person buying a handgun isn't buying it to go hunting game?

When this particulal OP begins a discussion and then abandons it, we can at least take it as him losing the commitment and heart to defend his intended point. That's an improvement over the usual mudslinging on gun violence related topics!

The statistical evidence isn't being debated here. The only explanation you are offering is that the democratic party is responsible.

That's a satisfactory example for political purposes, but it flies in the face of the fact that the other countries being compared are releasing far, far more prisoners on account of socially responsible emphasis on rehabilitation.

Would that still not be applicable to America, and then result in the gun violence becoming even worse than it already is?

No.......their criminals don't commit murder the way American criminals do...yet. They are getting there, but they are behind the U.S. since they suffered culture shock from World War 2....and they had a long history of kow towing to authority that we didn't have here.

But lets not get off the topic of domestic murdering by gun in America and the possible reasons why it's so out of proportion to the rest of the world.

I find your suggestion that it's on account of the democratic party because their emphasis is on socially acceptable treatment of the incarcerated, and that is consistent to policy of countries that are experienceing the least slaughter with guns on their domestic scene. Can you explain?
