When you look at Obama's elections, you will see that the majority of whites voted against him both times. Had it been left up to whites, McCain would have won in 2008, and Romney in 2012.

It wasn't necessarily of the stupidity of voters that Obama was elected. His campaign made many people think they were getting something different than GW Bush and the war in the Middle East. My wife is college educated, very intelligent, and voted for Reagan, yet she actually fell for the for the charade and voted for Obama in 2008. It only took her a couple months before she realized she had been hornswaggled.

Race relations were improving up until President Obama was elected. The thought of a Black man in the White House was apparently too much for the sensibilities of the racists in the U.S. so in order to retaliate, we got Trump.
