I always thought that because it was my body and my right to decide that my personal health decision were simply that. My FUCKIN choice in life! Now my health decision are a democratic decision of everyone? So much for individual liberty! This entire health care thing has shifted what was once left to individuals to decide for themselves to becoming everyone else's decision. We don't decide what is the appropriate level of cars we should own because it is purely an individual's choice but now that healthcare has been thrown into the public domain it has became a public decision. I'm not sure that is true but if people stopped bitching about how many people can't get health coverage their would never have been such a piece of legislation in the first place. Ronald Reagen wasn't perfect so criticize him all you want. I'm cool with it bro because there are a lot of things that Ronnie did that I didn't like. It is just inevitable that a president or politician is going to do something you don't like.

It's how Socialism works. Once government controls your health, they effectively control YOU. Everything they do is about control... controlling aspects of your life. Where you live, what you eat, who you associate with... all of it. It's the incremental approach... the creeping takeover of your life.
