In the so-called "Transnistria" (1/3 of Moldova occupied by Moscow), all industrial enterprises have stopped working due to lack of energy resources - the so-called "authorities" of the region

wouldn't it be great if the USA got on board and the entire world reduced its dependency on oil as well. Teach big oil a lesson and give Earth a chance to heal from all the pollution as well. Congratulations China on your EV boom!

It's awesome! Instead of burning gasoline, China is charging their cars with coal.

Todd, stop watching FOX news. How many hours Todd? HOW MANY A DAY TODD
This is only temporary. China is "cleaning the USA's clock" in nuclear development.

  • China is building many nuclear power plants, and is expected to surpass the United States in nuclear-generated electricity by 2030:
  • China has 27 nuclear reactors under construction, which is more than any other country. The average construction timeline is about seven years.
  • China has 58 operable reactors, and plans to build 150 new reactors between 2020 and 2035.
  • China is leading the development of small modular reactors and claims to have developed 90% of the technology in its new Shidaowan-1 plant.
  • China is able to build nuclear plants for about $2,500 to $3,000 per kilowatt, which is about one-third of the cost of recent projects in the United States and France.
  • China has implemented policies to benefit its nuclear industry.

How many hours is China burning coal?
That would be 24 hours a day.

The joke here is china is building MORE coal plants, not wind and solar or even nuke that kinda negates the whole EV's are better for the environment and planet

You're in la la land... the only reason demand has gone went down is because the Chinese economy is in recession right now.. China is in a real enemy not so much Russia. Biden administration made Russia our enemy by pushing to have Ukraine join NATO plus all these crooked politicians make a ton of money off of war..... Electric cars aren't cleaner electricity has to be generated car batteries have to be disposed of ECT.... And China is the biggest viewer pollution in the world the although CO2 is not a pollutant

yes, meanwhile Moscow empire (Gas-station ) literally is dying .... do you also think thats part of the 🇨🇳 plan ?

China accounted for 95% of the world’s new coal power construction activity in 2023, according to the latest annual report from Global Energy Monitor (GEM).

Construction began on 70 gigawatts (GW) of new capacity in China, up four-fold since 2019, says GEM’s annual report on the global coal power industry.

This compares with less than 4GW of new coal power construction starting in the rest of the world – the lowest since 2014.

Outside China, only 32 countries have new coal projects at pre-construction phases of development and just seven have plants under construction.

EV revolution is a part of the 🇨🇳 plan ! commie Han-🇨🇳China’s claims to Moscow’s Far East (Outer Manchuria) are fact-based and indisputable. The thoughts of han-Chinese imperialists are focused on a particular Siberian city (Vladivostok) —one famous for its sea cucumbers, a popular han-Chinese delicacy.
with friends like these who needs enemies? commie Han- China take advantage of Mongol- 🇷🇺Moscow empire 's weakened position. Believe nothing else! Its not personal. Its strictly business....

thats true, that why we need to build the nuclear power plants fast , very fast.

Bulgaria, Czechia and Finland are planning to construct one each. Poland has large-scale plans to start nuclear energy production and build six large pressurised water reactors by 2040. The construction of its first nuclear power plant is due to start in 2026 and be completed by 2033.
this is no enough for sure. US has to lead us again ...
or ?

We have seen the progressive Socialist Party in our nation interfere with oil and cause near 25% inflation in 4 years. Civilization survives on the cheapest energy for the maximum comfort.

+1, "Safe, reliable, carbon-free nuclear power will play a key role in electrifying transportation and life." do WE AGREE ON THIS ?

^^^ this one flunked science obviously. Where are you going to get the electric ENERGY to charge your EV? Don't overheat your puny Dem brain.

now that's one we can all agree upon. Thanks for sharing.

we just BADLY NEED Nuclear Power, AS SOON AS POSSIBLE

I appreciate the focus on debunking old (KGB) fears about nuclear power. Nuclear power was always safe. The risks have been overhyped and exaggerated. If you look at the numbers, nuclear power is and remains the safest source of power per TWh produced. Also, if you look at accidents like Fukushima, the measured radiation outside of the containment buildings is already well below the acceptable limit for permanent exposure. The anti-nuclear movement is and always has been ignorant and intellectualky challenged.
