Zone1 How can one be religious without kindness?

This is what is lacking in the world. It is difficult, especially with so much evil among us. I of course speak from personal experience but there is exceedingly more evil among us, not just in Canada.

One can even blame this expansion of evil for the lack of kindness among others as it draws people away from their kind nature to meet the evil around them. A cycle that makes the world a less enjoyable experience, a betrayal of G-ds commands.

So, do any on here who claim they are religious have a kind soul? Do you share acts of kindness with others? Do you confront evil?

Depends what you consider religion and evil to be, I guess.

Humans are selfish, humans are designed to be killers. Would we survive if we were all kind?

I have a good heart

You believe you do. What do those around you say?

God says you likely don't understand your own heart. We all consider ourselves "good ". But how will God judge you when you're done tooting your own horn

I agree with your point exactly. G-d will judge me and I'm quite comfortable as he knows all.

If you knew all in regards to my life, you'd be in the same boat. I know what I am and more importantly what I am not.

I really don't mean this as a personal attack, but so did the Pharisee Who thanked God in his prayed that he wasn't like that sinner and that tax collector.

I don't enjoy lying, it's a waste of time and betrays G-d.

I've been honest to a fault. Probably convinced some I am not deception enough for certain type of work, but it's more a case of "if it's David vs Goliath, all I have is the truth".

a betrayal of G-ds commands.

there are no commandments from the heavens only desert worshipers using their false bibles to persecute and victimize the innocent and have done so throughout recorded history.

the heavenly goal to triumph over evil granted a&e at their request for self determination is their answer for whoever accomplishes their goal with judgement are granted admission to the everlasting ...

You're too good for us mere mortals.

If you speak the truth often than we are similar.

If you lie alot we are different.

You can determine your own moral compass and if you are "good or bad", ultimately though, G-d decides. My opinion is, "don't ever try to insult or fool G-d".

You ever experience anything supernatural or unexplainable? Just once? Deja vu? A premonition? Anything?

If so, you have proven to yourself that some things in life are far beyond our grasp. You can never prove the how or why (maybe AI can in 100 years), but you know something is amiss, beyond the scientific deductive reasoning based on physical evidence.

never, all are equal in the heavens no one is above another - some are more gifted than others there is always someone who will know or whatever isn't does not exist ... shocky simply does not understand the ancient revelation referred to as - monotheism.

Read closely, the "bottom line" of the parable of the Good Samaritan is, Treat everyone like they are a child of God, just like you.

Being "kind" can be ambiguous. I am kind to my trans-nephew (born a girl), but I am doing her no kindness in patronizing her delusion. Her delusion will result in never having children, never having an intimate relationship or, truth be told, an intimate episode. She needs what might be called, "shock therapy," but that's not my role in the family.

There is nothing wrong with being truthful.

You can only walk a horse to the water though. If they don't drink, you can't force them.

I barely knew what Charlie Kirk was about beyond that he was one who was working with those college-aged in presenting them with the alternate, conservative points of view that were missing on many campuses. I do not recall his exact words but something to the point that one can look at one's body as it is--and on down to the cellular level--and know, see, the truth that it is male or female. Yet there is some part of the mind that refuses to accept that truth. Why is the mind malfunctioning--what is causing that? Instead of chopping off the reality of the body parts or using artificial drugs to change the reality of body chemistry, why not explore the mind and why one part of it does not recognize the truth of who you were created to be.

Keeping that philosophy in mind, I was thinking that if the hand were to tell the foot to be an elbow, would we chop off a foot to make it an elbow? Or, would we tell and work with the hand to straighten up and focus on doing the work of a hand? In the same way if another of our body parts (say something in the brain) is telling the penis to become a breast or the vagina a penis, shouldn't we tell and work with our brain to straighten up and focus on doing the work of the brain which is to correctly present us with knowledge about the human body, because after all, it is a huge part of our own creation. Why not honor the body for exactly what it is. It comes with great gifts.

good question!

You CANNOT. You are deceiving yourself. I can list numerous things you have deceived yourself over.
If you don't judge your thoughts and actions by the Word of God, you are taking from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.

Again, the heart is DECEITFUL ABOVE All THINGS. Who can know it? (God can -- not you)
