How about another Mandate? (A solutions thread)

I have links stating Palestinian rights.

Do you have anything for the Israelis?

You don't have any "links" which state special rights for the Arab Palestinians. Just the opposite. Any document which states "Jewish National Home" does grant special rights to the Jewish people.

Besides, you continually argue that rights to things like self-determination are inherent in international law and don't depend on treaties, etc.

Just apply all your usual arguments to the Jewish people as well. Its not hard.
Palestine was created by treaty.

Israel was created by unilateral military action.

You mean that your invented Pal'istan was created by unilateral military action on the part of the Turk invaders and Arab invaders.

What a shame you have learned nothing about history and still refuse the history that identifies the land area of Pal'istan as a non-descript geographic area.
Oh jeese, :eusa_doh: where do you get this shit?

Oh jeese. It's not curious at all that you have a subjective timeline that allows for Islamist invaders, Egyptian, Syrian and Lebanese squatters to magically become Pal'istanians.

Otherwise, tell us about the specific borders of your invented "country of Pal'istan" when it was a Sanjuk of the Ottoman empire.

1. The Armistice Demarcation Line shall follow the international boundary between the Lebanon and Palestine.

The Avalon Project : Lebanese-Israeli General Armistice Agreement, March 23, 1949

Where the existing truce lines run along the international boundary between Syria and Palestine, the Armistice Demarcation Line shall follow the boundary line

The Avalon Project : Israeli-Syrian General Armistice Agreement, July 20, 1949

d) In the sector from a point on the Dead Sea (MR 1925-0958) to the southernmost tip of Palestine, the Armistice Demarcation Line shall be determined by existing military positions

The Avalon Project : Jordanian-Israeli General Armistice Agreement, April 3, 1949

except as provided in Article III of this Agreement; and elsewhere shall not violate the international frontier;

2. This withdrawal shall begin on the day after that which follows the signing of this Agreement, at 0500 hours GMT, and shall be beyond the Egypt-Palestine frontier.

The Avalon Project : Egyptian-Israeli General Armistice Agreement, February 24, 1949

That's a lot of pointless cutting and pasting. But then again, I'll consider the source.

So, the question was: Otherwise, tell us about the specific borders of your invented "country of Pal'istan" when it was a Sanjuk of the Ottoman empire.

Link?

Except those who deny the rights of the Palestinians to live in their homeland.

Both the Jewish people and the Arab Palestinian people have the right to live in their homeland. Both the Jewish people and the Arab Palestinian people have the right to independent sovereignty in their homeland. They are collective, inter-generational rights.

No one on the Israeli side is trying to deny those rights to the Palestinians**. Those rights are certainly being denied to the Israelis, in principle if not in practice.

**Occasionally, there is conversation on the Israeli side that the Arab Palestinians are not currently CAPABLE of applying those rights. Some even suppose they will never be capable. Hence, the discussion of another Mandate to help assist them in developing that capability.

And that was in 1949. It is interesting to see where they say Israels borders are.

BTW, are you saying that Yale University is not a good source?

Now I see your problem.

Your head is on up side down.

Now I see your problem.

Your head is on up side down.

Do I have to do a Princess Bride quote for you too? Come on.

You said: As Palestinian citizens, they all had the same rights.

So, if the Arab Palestinians have a right to self-determination, then so too do the Jewish people. If the Arab Palestinians have a right to sovereignty, so too do the Jewish people. They have the same rights.

The right to self-determination is thieving and murdering?

Both the Jewish people and the Arab Palestinian people have the right to live in their homeland.
Then why on earth are Europeans stealing Palestine?

What part of Spain should the Jews get then?
Are you high?

LOL. You are asking the wrong person. It was one of your anti-Israel compatriots who claims that the Jewish people originated in Spain. So, since you also think Jews originated in Europe -- what parts of Spain and Europe should the Jewish people get for their sovereign independent nation?

The right to self-determination is thieving and murdering?

Well, no. The right to self-determination is inherent and can't be abrogated. If it is, however, the people have a right to defend their self-determination. That's neither thieving nor murdering. That is is asserting their rights.

Your desperation is understandable, but I find it sloppy and pathetic. They don't need a sovereign independent nation and think if some neonazi claimed that white people needed their own sovereign independent nation... or blacks, etc..

Oh, wait, you don't think... sorry.

The Nakba began in 1947 and still goes on to this day - THAT'S THIEVING AND MURDERING.

They don't need a sovereign independent nation ....

Yep. That's what I thought you would say. If you scratch the skin of every single anti-Israel poster, it will eventually come down to: the Jewish people don't have the same rights as other peoples.

NOONE ON EARTH HAS THE RIGHT TO THIEVE AND MURDER!

You are insane.
The Nakba began in 1947 and still goes on to this day - THAT'S THIEVING AND MURDERING.

The Jewish Exile began in 586 BCE. What's your point?
Based on what besides total horseshit?

You are claiming "rights" that nobody else has.
