How About a Congressional Commission on the George Floyd Riots?

How about the Media's role in promoting the Floyd narrative. How many THOUSANDS OF TIMES has that video been repeated on national "News" networks?
Some of the media did not help but lets stop blaming the media for everything. There were media who showed that a lot of it was peaceful.

Democrats want a stacked, rigged "congressional commission" to "investigate" a 4-hour riot that is already being investigated by the FBI and the DC DA. But, they don't want to investigate the far more destructive and widespread George Floyd riots, which were, in many cases, coordinated by BLM and Antifa activists, and which caused over a dozen deaths, hundreds of injuries, the occupation of parts of two major cities, assaults on hundreds of police officers, the burning down of a police station, massive looting, and billions of dollars of damage.

And, of course, we now know that the George Floyd riots were unjustified, because we now know that Derek Chauvin did not put his knee on Floyd's neck, that Chauvin did not cause Floyd's death, that Floyd had ingested over three times the lethal dosage of fentanyl shortly before his police encounter, that Floyd was having trouble breathing before Chauvin laid a finger on him, that Floyd had severe heart problems, that the officers had no way of knowing any of this, and that Floyd had numerous chances to avoid being pinned on the ground but failed to take any of them.

The democrat Reich orchestrated and funded the riots.

Stacked and rigged? That shit was bipartisan with equal membership. Are you telling me that republicans are at a disadvantage with equal membership and bipartisan support?

You guys really suck these days. Buncha pathetic whiners.

They love to stage their political theater under the guise of an official proceeding.

We've watched their idiocy for years.

Fuck 'em.
Do you think the Congressional authorities would continue this fucking without providing prophylactics?

Of course, likely no lube either as long as you kept throwing money at them.

What the Democrats agreed to was a even split between Democrats and Republicans. It required Republicans and Democrats to approve subpoenas. It was not stacked or rigged. As a matter of fact, McCarthy allowed another Republican to negotiate a compromise. Maybe you need to find out what the facts are before you open your fat fingers. The FBI and DC cops are investigating whether criminal laws were violated. Congress needs to determine whether new laws are needed or whether administrative changes need to be made.

What happened in the wake of Floyd's murder involves state laws not federal laws. There is no evidence that hundreds of police officers were injured. Also right wing agitators were also involved in agitating the situation. The police themselves inflamed the protestors. Donald Trump used tear gas against peaceful protestors. The fact is that the vast majority of the protests were peaceful.

We know that Chauvin did put his knee on Floyd's throat. That is why he was convicted of murder. Even his fellow police officers were forced to admit that he acted improperly.

You won't like what you will hear. I have read the New York, LA, and Chicago Police departments reports on the George Floyd protests and it doesn't show what you have made yourselves believe. For example, in New York, the majority of arrests were on whites. In both NYC and LA, the majority of protests were peaceful with most of the damage done by groups not associated with BLM.

I saw on TV the amount of damage caused to 5th Ave in New York during the Floyd protests.
Very violent, lots of looting broken windows, etc.

The NYPD report I read said different and they were there.

Prove it...post "what you read" here right now.

A jury agreed with the video and many police officers ad mitted Chauvin was wrong.

Not to really "investigate" anything.
How will the investigation suppress, discourage and demonize the Deplorables? That is what the Deplorables are doing to the last election.

The purpose of the commission seems to be an attack on free political speech- no one is allowed to question Sleepy Joe's legitimacy. Makes it sort of pointless to vote if your views are outlawed.
Biden won the election. There is nothing to question.

You are projecting your racism. If it is antifa types doing the majority of the damage, that would be surprising but fine. Target them the most aggressively then.

The purpose of this "congressional commission" is to make political hay for the left and to demonize, discourage and suppress the vote of Deplorable Americans.

Not to really "investigate" anything.

Republicans are running like rabbits from this investigation because every one of them is complicit in what happened.

They refused to tell Trump to cut it at any time. They refused to impeach him for his crimes, out of fear of retribution. And they let kill 500,000 people through ignorance and incompetence.

Their refusal to admit that Trump lost the election and their backing of his bogus claims of election fraud, is in no small part responsible for the insurrection.

Giving tours of the Capitol to the insurrectionists in the hours before it happened.

Then there’s Roger Stone and his “bodyguards”. Or the Flynn Brothers. The convicted traitor General Flynn, who called for Trump to declare martial law and cancel Biden’s inauguration. And his traitorous brother who kept the NG penned up at the base.

Republicans got a lot of explaining to do here and that’s why they’re fighting the Commission.

Not according arrest reports. Not a single BLM member was arrested.

Nearly all of the arrests for violence were right wing militias and agitators. And 4 chan looters. Lots of Boogaloo Bois.

So cops are trustworthy now? And I like the way that you lump "4 chan looters" in with the "right wing", as though they are the same group.

But my point stands. IF a serious investigation can really show that the violence was mostly done by "whites", who are almost certainly thus antifa types, then fine, target them the way you goons are targeting the 1/6 rioters and suppress the lefty riots moving forward.

On what ground would you oppose such a move?

You can question all you want...

Just don't smash the Capitol's windows or kick in the doors of Congress, or beat to a pulp 140 policemen, or stop a Congressional joint session to count the electoral votes in to the record.
