Illegal immigration was dropping...the people weren't coming just to be kept in Mexico....under Trump's stay in Mexico deal...this was good for not just the US but good for the people coming here and also good for the few people with real asylum claims....

I've been seeing a lot of articles concerning "The Great Resignation". They all maintain that in a "Post-COVID" environment, many non-essential workers who have bee laid off due to COVID closure will refuse to re-enter the workplace and that they prefer to stay home and get paid to play X-Box.

None of the articles are very specific about how these people will pay their rent and bills. I think they believe that either the government will be forced to pay them a minimum income or that employers will be forced to accept them back on the worker's new terms.

Either way, it will be fun to watch.

I think our government under Dementia paid them so well some have stuffed a lot of money between the mattress. The gravy train ended in September and it may take them a few months before all that money runs out. But as the OP article stated, it's slowly returning back to normal.

No we don't because poverty in the US is a choice, not an infliction. Of course that excludes those with mental or physical impairments. Everybody has a chance to better themselves with a little training or some advanced education. But the left blames employers when employees don't do that, sit at home smoking pot so they can't get a decent paying job. To the left it's not their fault they can't stop smoking dope, it's the employers fault. The left lives in this fantasy world that we as society put these people in low wage jobs and will shoot them on site dare they try to leave.

Bullshit. Trump slowed down border crossings by 90% from the beginning of 2019 until the end of that year. Every policy he tried to implement against illegals was stopped by the commies in the House, and what they couldn't stop they had their commie judges stop him..........at least temporarily.

Dems love to talk about what needs to be done. And if anything is actually done, the dems will be there to talk about how SOMETHING else should be done. That what is being done, is not what needs to be done.
