The Hong Kong Protests are turning violent and who can blame them? They are watching their freedoms being absorbed into the great totalitarian cauldron that is Red China and are virtually powerless to stop it.
Getting violent is not going to help though...not in this case. They will have to take a more cerebral approach and wait it out. Unfortunately the Red Dragon has a monopoly on force in that area of the world and therefore can resort to it ultimately as the final decision maker. That is no doubt what they are hoping for because it is shorter, more absolute and far less expensive than having to dig it out diplomatically.
Look for a major riot that allows the reds to declare an emergency...then look for major contingent of regular Amy troops to move in and totally flatten HK.
