He was making a documentary about police brutality. Then the LAPD tased him in his home.

Filmmaker and actor Damien Smith has filed a civil lawsuit against the LAPD over its response to him reporting a burglary at his Hollywood home.

He caught a burglar in the act. But when police came, he says they tased him instead of the intruder.

Damien Smith claims in a new lawsuit that police racially profiled him and violated his First, Fourth, and 14th Amendment rights.

oh please this suit wont work. the cops get to house with a break in call. you got man standing over with bloody knife cause he just stabbed the intruder. and they expect the cops who is who. of course they cuffed the due with the knife. i do not know why he was tased unless he fought the cops. we need a video release. but of course they will cuff the one with weapon trill it is proofed who is who. adn at the same time this producer is doing s documintry on police brutality. how do we know this wasnt all done to get more footage. you never know in holly weird.

A break in is serious and they show up ready to roll. If he just kept his mouth shut, complied, then they would be taking the cuffs off him in 20 minutes and probably would have apologized.

When the cops point a tazer and tell you to get on the ground you don't do "protest" you keep your mouth shut and get on the ground.
