Hollywood holds a counter rally against Trump

Julia Roberts joined a parade of stars offering a defense of the First Amendment as counterprogramming to President Donald Trump's Freedom 250 UFC match on the White House lawn on Sunday night.

Yep, that Donald sure knows how to hold a party. The only thing that might have made last night's UFC at the WH even better is if they had slaughtered a pig or something, had it up on some big spit next to the ring slowly turning on a rotisserie cooking as the evening went on, the smell of cooked pig permeating the air, then after the fights, they served it out to all the guests, a helping of cooked whatever with a topping of basted spicy sauce, some potatoes and cheese, cole slaw and salad topped with a good Chianti wine, finished with an excellent Bavarian cake for dessert.

Democrats are furious.

No one is allowed to enjoy themselves or have a good time except them.

Perhaps they should spend more time improving things where they are. A tipping point is approaching if not alrdy too late

Julia Roberts joined a parade of stars offering a defense of the First Amendment as counterprogramming to President Donald Trump's Freedom 250 UFC match on the White House lawn on Sunday night.

Roberts, 58, urged the audience at the Rise Up, Sing Out concert to 'breathe in all that hope' and 'breathe out all that fear,' according to the Washington Examiner.

The event was organized by the Committee for the First Amendment, and its apparent anti-Trump stance was telegraphed by the addition of No Kings and Indivisible as partner organizations.

Also making an appearance at the concert was one of Trump's most vociferous critics, Robert De Niro.

'Welcome to all of you who couldn’t get tickets to the White House cage fight,' he joked on stage, according to the Examiner.

'When I hear something I don’t like, I use my own free speech to respond,' the Oscar winner continued. 'Let me give you an example: when I hear Trump say, as he did a few days ago, "I don’t care about Americans’ financial situation, not even a little bit," I say, "Shut the f*** up."'

The Pretty Woman star was just one of the famous faces at the event in New York City, which also included appearances from Jane Fonda, former MSNBC host Joy Reid, The Bear star Ayo Edebiri, Tessa Thompson, Oscar nominee Lily Gladstone and rock icon Patti Smith.

Roberts paid tribute to one of the other leading ladies by wearing a T-shirt featuring Fonda's name and visage in a style inspired by Shepard Fairey's Obama 'Hope' poster, along with a gray seersucker sport coat with the sleeves rolled up to reveal its red, white and blue striped lining.

'We all feel like, "I can’t turn the news on, I don’t want to hear it,"' Roberts's speech continued. 'But we have to hear it; we have to face it. But if we keep inhaling and exhaling, we will prevail.'

It was a Far Left hate rally.
Today's Leftists demand racial discrimination in employment and in education aka DEI

The are opposed to Voter ID laws which protects my right to vote from the Democrat voter fraud crimes.
The Far Left is looting our government benefit system.
Their racist open borders agenda is directly aimed at diluting White voting strength.
Their climate change agenda is thinly veiled Far Left totalitarianism.
They are not for freedom of speech as we saw during the phony covid scam.

I live in Hollywood and nobody knows wtf you are talkin bout

Her talent has always been questionable, IMHO.
“From A Distance” and “The Rose” were sung nicely by her. But I’m not a fan of any other songs performed by Bette, I don’t even month’s names of any other songs in her career.
