Of course we all, including the State Department have her staff's reassurances that all the emails were turned over. What isn't mentioned is that her system could permanently delete emails, something most systems do not. All of this begs the question of why Hillary just doesn't release them herself, they are on her server.

Hillary Clinton asks State Dept. to release her e-mails

Hillary Rodham Clinton said late Wednesday she requested the State Department to disclose all of her e-mails from her tenure as the nation's top diplomat, amid controversy over the use of a private account for government business.

Clinton posted on Twitter that she wants the public to see her e-mail, marking the first time she has commented publicly about the controversy.

"I asked State to release them. They said they will review them for release as soon as possible," she said.

State spokeswoman Marie Harf said the department will review the e-mails provided by Clinton. "We will undertake this review as quickly as possible," Harf said. "Given the sheer volume of the document set, this review will take some time to complete."

Clinton's tweet came after a day of maneuvering over her use of a private e-mail system, which was first reported earlier this week by The New York Times. The former secretary of State has been widely reported as moving toward a 2016 presidential bid, and she is leading all early polls for the Democratic nomination.

The House Select Committee on Benghazi on Wednesday issued subpoenas to the State Department and "other individuals who have information pertinent to the investigation," spokesman Jamal Ware said. He said the select committee — which is investigating the deadly 2012 attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya — issued letters to unnamed Internet companies instructing them to preserve records relevant to the investigation.

The panel said it has records with two different e-mail addresses used by Clinton. which she controlled on her own server at clintonemail.com. Harf said there is only one e-mail account and that it was not prohibited during Clinton's four-year tenure.

........................... THAT means that they will NOT be released before the 2016 election.

Yeah, she doesn't offer to turn over her server...

Of course not, THEN the emails would be out before the 2016 election for people, AND the cpmmittee to to read.
Hillary can't have THAT happen.

The democrat destruction of Hillary begins:

Axelrod Tells Hillary to Answer Email Questions The Weekly Standard

"There was a rigorous policy about using email" in the Obama administratoin, Axelrod said. "People had private email, but government business was to be conducted on government email."

Axelrod explained that Hillary Clinton needs to answer questions. "Let me just make a political point, if I can ... I think the real issue here, however this turns out, this problem is being exacerbated by the lack of answers from the Clinton campaign or the nascent campaign," he said.

"And it would be good to get out there and answer these questions, why did she use a separate email? How did she secure that email? Was there another email for which she communicated with people? By not answering these questions, they're allowing the story to fester in ways that are unhelpful and so, you know, lack of speed kills in this case."

Secret Service Guarding Hillary s Home Email Server The Weekly Standard

A buried lede in the Associated Press story about Hillary Clinton's use of a private, home email server:

“Operating her own server would have afforded Clinton additional legal opportunities to block government or private subpoenas in criminal, administrative or civil cases because her lawyers could object in court before being forced to turn over any emails. And since the Secret Service was guarding Clinton's home, an email server there would have been well protected from theft or a physical hacking.”

A GOP source emails, "Granted taxpayers pay for government servers too… but we literally are paying to protect hillary from public records. That’s insane."

I just heard all her aids at the state dept also used her server for their emails. What a tangled web...

Oh, and the guy that set up her server? A Clinton staffer.

Cyber attack be damned, or that the email gremlins might busy inside, she had it protected!
