She will have to release her medical records during the campaign if she runs. Her major medical incident ( blackout/head injury/blood clot in head) delayed her testifying in the Benghazi hearings and we need a good healthy (Sarah Palin) president to lead this country in this critical moment in our history. It's a serious issue that needs to be addressed and of all people democrat Senator Charles Schumer agrees that her medical records will need to be released to the public for the voters to decide.

Well should or must?

I think that the American voters have every reason to be concerned about any candidate's health.

And if any candidate refuses to provide enough information to satisfy the voter, then certainly vote against that candidate.

But no candidate is required to provide the records- it is up to the voters to decide whether that is important to the voters.

Reagan refused to do a urinalysis....and he was old, fell asleep easily, but found the energy to get elected...

If The Party can produce a phony birth certificate can it not produce phony medical records?

If The Party can seal college transcripts can it not seal medical records?

If The Party can seal foreign student loan applications can it not seal health records?

Have you leftists so little faith in The Party that you're "concerned"?

No, really.......????

Why are you expending all this aimless energy on somebody who hasn't even declared a candidacy? Are you that scared, really?

I mean you could be cleaning the bogus quotes out of that sigline while you wait.

As for Sarah Palin  I think she's gonna need slightly more than a pulse, K?

She could drop dead tomorrow and politically it wouldn't phase me....

Yet he still defeated the Democrat Home team, the USSR. Imagine what he could have accomplished if he was healthy

What the hell are you talking about

Health records are 'sealed' - by law, as are college transcripts, and of course foreign student loan applications would be too, to prevent identity theft.

A candidate can choose to release health records, or college records or not to.

A political party really has no say in the matter.

Psychological Effects of Obesity

Being severely obese has serious psychological and social repercussions. Many people who are overweight are subject to disapproval, even lectures, from family and friends and to sneers and remarks from strangers. Such behavior is propagated by the general societal belief that obesity is caused by a lack of self-discipline or moral weakness. These attitudes carry over into the work world, where a job or a promotion is often denied simply because of how much one weighs.

Not surprising, many obese people prefer not to go out in public because they feel self-conscious or they simply cannot enjoy activities that most people take for granted, like going to the movies, taking the subway, or going on vacation - because the seats are too small, the turnstiles are too narrow, or the accommodations are too uncomfortable. All these experiences, repeated day after day for years, can lead to depression, anxiety, or low self-esteem,. and mental illness.

The truth of the matter is that morbid obesity is a chronic medical illness, as was announced by the American Medical Association (AMA), At NYU, we strive to educate the professionals and laypeople alike of the seriousness of this disease and the need to treat and prevent it.
